Clark Gregg will appear in Joss Whedon‘s Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot for ABC, reprising the his role as agent Phil Coulson.

ReplyDeleteBy the end of The Avengers i still don't believed that Coulson was dead... I fell that they were just pretending; but HE LIVES!

ReplyDeleteI always say if you don't see a character actually die on screen they can always come back and well they cut away in the Avengers and we only had Fury tell us he had died - and we all know it seemed to be part of a plan to manipulate the others into working as a team.
ReplyDeleteSo I can totally buy Coulson coming back and I'm happy and even if the TV show won't have a huge crossover with the movies I imagine when Tony and Steve especially find out the truth they might be pissed at Fury and that could add in some nice tension for the next Avengers.
I am way too excited by all of this.

ReplyDeleteWonder if they'll get Cobie Smulders on board too.... they'd have to share her with HIMYM for a while but that hasn't got much more to go (most predictions are one more season after this one).
ReplyDeleteI dont think so. This project looks like a show for early in the 2013-2014 season as this project already has the plot, a bunch of main charcters, and a lead role castet (with Clark Gregg).
ReplyDeleteI was suuuuuuuuper excited to hear this!! When I first heard about the show, I was like, "Are Clark Gregg and Cobie Smulders going to be in it? They have to be in it!!!" They need to end HIMYM anyway, so it would be perfect for Cobie. I cannot express how happy I am that Coulson is back!
ReplyDeleteYAY! I always thought that he was alive, it seemed obvious to me that Fury was lying so the Avengers could unite as a team. I hope he's a regular and not just for guest appearances. They need Cobie to come too, HIMYM is awesome and all, but it's story is coming to an end and most likely in it's last season

I love Phil and I was devastated he died and I'm incredibly happy he's gonna be a part of the show, but then I honestly hope it is set in the past!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't expect a major role, maybe a guest appearance or two first season with aim to make her recurring when HIMYM comes to a close.
