  1. Supernatural matched "Hello, Cruel World" episode of last year viewer wise. :I Not sure how this compares to other CW shows.

  2. Mark Pedowitz doesn't go by Nielsen. He said he has to add the streams, etc. to know what his network does. Too many of us watch it later on DVR or on streaming video, etc. He doesn't count this, so I don't.

  3. WPIX11 (CW's New York station) has been dropped by Cablevision which
impacts a TON of people. Most have to wait and watch it online.

  5. If so, I love the guy. I hate Nielsen stuff.

  6. not sure it was wise to put SPN as the only show airing at the same time than the debate -_-, I guess we'll see the final ratings and next week ratings to see if it drop or stay stable.

  7. The fact is that while Pedowitz doesn't count this (or at least says he doesn't to save face - believe me, he'd love to have numbers to crow about), the advertisers and affiliates do. Those are the people he ultimately answers to so it matters.

  8. We won't know comparisons until the other shows debut too but Hart of Dixie premiered at 0.7 demo, which was good for that show. The test will be how much Supernatural drops next episode when it goes up against competition and how well the new shows do.

  9. Through politics and playing ball I know literally thousands of people. Never heard of anybody with a Nielsen Box. (I think the Jersey Devil has 'em all!)

  10. The debate was over in a couple of punches. Sadly, I don't think it mattered.

  11. .8 is average, if a smidge above average, for SPN now days, and on the very high end for CW's rating, so I'm not too worried. Not to mention, it was up against the presidential debates, which hogged a Very large portion of viewers, if you consider all the channels were airing the same thing at this time slot (making it 9.4 overall just for the debates. Roughly 30 million o.O)

Overall, I'm pleased. SPN's main viewers will watch it through DVR and online medias. I'm disappointed in NY for dropping the ball, because that effects a LOT of viewers, but it is what it is. My friend is in NY and loves this show and really hates what's happened too.
