-Rating Results:
CBS, which did not begin its line-up until 7:56 p.m., led the evening due to the 56-minute football primetime football overrun. Keeping in mind that all program results for the Eye net are approximate, 60 Minutes scored an estimated 11.3 rating/17 share (#1) in the overnights from 8-9 p.m. (+15 percent from one year earlier), followed by The Amazing Race (#2, 6.9/10 from 9-10 p.m., + 6 percent), The Good Wife (#2: 7.6/12 at 10 p.m., + 4 percent) and relocated The Mentalist (5.8/11 at 11 p.m.), which has lost steam since moving to Sunday.
Earlier in the evening on the Eye net was the football overrun at a whopping (and approximate) 19.2/33 in the overnights from 7-8 p.m.
The Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football on NBC was on the map with a dominant 11.8/17 from 8:30-11:15 p.m., which was up by 44 percent from Indianapolis vs. New Orleans on the year-ago evening (8.2/13 on 10/23/11). Earlier in the evening was pre-game Football Night in America at a 1.6/ 3 (#4) from 7-7:30 p.m., a 2.4/ 4 from 7:30-8 p.m. (#4), and a 6.8/10 from 8-8:15 p.m.
ABC had more mixed news on this fourth Sunday of the new TV season with its line-up of veteran America’s Funniest Home Videos (3.8/ 6: equal to one year earlier), sophomore Once Upon a Time (6.0/ 9: down 29 percent from the year-ago series debut), relocated Revenge (6.0/ 9: down 10 percent from year-ago occupant Desperate Housewives) and week four of 666 Park Avenue (3.3/ 6: down 28 percent from failed year-ago occupant Pan Am). Four-week overnight track for 666 Park Avenue: 5.3/ 9 – 3.7/ 6 – 3.7/ 6 – 3.3/ 6).
Last in the overnights was animation on Fox care of a 7 p.m. edition of Bob’s Burgers (#2t: 3.4/ 6), The Cleveland Show (#3: 3.8/ 6), The Simpsons (#4: 4.8/ 7), the regularly scheduled edition of Bob’s Burgers (#4: 4.2/ 6), Family Guy (#4, 4.0/ 6) and American Dad (#4: 4.0/ 6). The steep overall 62 percent decline for Fox was a reflection of Game 4 of the World Series (San Francisco vs. Texas) one year earlier.

Revenge grew from last week :D
ReplyDeleteIs this guy making up the numbers on his own? None of those shows wee even on Fox last night? It was game 6 of the NLCS.
ReplyDeleteWow Berman with a huge gaffe. FOX Animation wasn't on. Basesball was moved to 7pm.
ReplyDeleteHow in the heck can he post numbers for shows that weren't on???
ReplyDeleteEither he copied and pasted from a previous post and forgot to remove them or neilsen sent out incorrect info to him
ReplyDeleteGoodbye park avenue :(
ReplyDeleteCredibility in my eyes lost
ReplyDeletegood for Once Upon A Time, I guessed a 3.3 on the TVBTN poll. Its such a great show, I cant wait till season 2 starts in the UK.
ReplyDeleteYay, OUAT was up this week after going down a little last week! I'm thrilled right now.
ReplyDeleteAnd while it sucks that 666 Park Avenue isn't doing all that well, at least it went up, too.
I just read somewhere else that 666 got 1.6 not 1.8?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say that 666 Park Avenue did that bad considering it rose 4 tenths from last week, from a 1.5 to a 1.9, it's still probs gonna get cancelled but at least it didn't drop more!
ReplyDelete666 Park Avenue wins 0,3%, but not enough I guess
ReplyDeleteNo chance for a back 9;
3.3 for Once Upon A Time, so looks like the ratings have finally stabilized! Season 3, here we come!
ReplyDeleteThe Mentalist???
ReplyDeleteWe've not yet received the ratings yet. As soon as we do we'll update the spreadsheet.
ReplyDeleteIt started after 11pm :/
ReplyDeleteFootball overflow is making it quite difficult to watch CBS on Sunday nights.
ReplyDeleteOMG! >.< It's painful to what's happening to The Mentalist. I do hope the ratings for it are published, seeing it was broadcasted after the primetime block of 8-10 pm.
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, I'm enjoying (albeit bitterly) the comments of those people who "delusionally" said "Relax it's going to be OK! /This/that show did OK on Sunday"
nyanynanyanya >:O
Yeah.. rrright. :|
I hate cbs for moving the mentalist to sundays.
ReplyDeleteand what about The Mentalist????? :(
ReplyDeleteIt aired late so we don't have any ratings for it currently.
ReplyDeleteAt ABC Once Upon a Time and Revenge were best In Demo among non sports.Once Upon a Time was second highest rated show among total viewers besides sports.Good news for Once Upon a Time and Revenge.66 park avenue continues It's path to end at midseason.
ReplyDeleteYay OUAT up from last week :)
ReplyDeleteSOMEONE HAD THEIR HEAD UP THEIR BUM LAST NIGHT...FOX HAD A BASEBALL PLAY OFF, NOT IT'S ANIMATION DOMINATION LINE UP!!!! IN THE FUTURE MAYBE YOU SHOULD HIRE A FACT CHECKER!!!
ReplyDelete.
The Good wife is up! I hope it keeps at least up than 2.0
ReplyDeleteThey are so killing the Mentalist
ReplyDeleteWhere are the Mentalist Ratings?
ReplyDeleteSunday's seem to be where CBS send their shows to die :| The sports nearly always overrun, it happened to CSI: Miami last year, looks like it's the Mentalist's turn this year :(
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Mentalist got a disappointing 1.5 with 8.10 viewers (according to tvbythenumbers)
ReplyDeleteI saw last season a full long and handy table with the rating numbers of every episode together of all current shows that was being updated accordingly. I can't seem to find it >.< Where is it now? Or maybe I dreamed that fantastic table :/ lol!
