Early ratings seem to indicate Emily Owens will premiere to around a 0.6 A 18-49 demo rating, way below Arrow and Beauty's premieres. It is worth noting though that last year Hart Of Dixie premiered much lower than Ringer and The Secret Circle and look what happened there..

    I predicted 0.6 to 0.8, so I'm not shocked at all. I wonder if the CW will yank it off the air mid season and replace with Cult?

    America's Next Top Model is coming back next summer, not in the winter (it was just announced). So The CW doesn't necessary have to cancel a show to make room for Cult.

    ..this series really ..SUCKS...how a daughter of and ICON actress make the choice to participate in this bad comedy may be she must talk with her mom for advice to choose tv series pilot her mom is..MERYL..STREEP

    Yes, all cw series will get full season orders i think unless they start hitting 0.3s very soon (that is what a vampire diaries repeat would likely pull)

    I agree and for the past few years the CW hasn't cancelled a series no matter how low rated so quickly but they actually have a show waiting in the wings this time and they can always air a repeat or pick up another reality series to air on Friday.

    oh my this was an awful show. I tried to watch because I wanted to like it. The CW is really going to start struggling if they can't pick it up soon and start getting a group of watchable and likeable shows. 3or 4 can't possibly carry a network can it?

    I bet it also has something to do with the fact that this episode was already available on youtube... + the CW doesn't have a record of cancelling any of its new shows (with a few exceptions).


    Personally, the episode was not that bad, but definitely not good either. Way too many similarities with Grey's Anatomy, the voice-overs, the walk through on their first day with the speech about how pagers are their life now, and the girl with the glasses, I could see a connection with the patient Meredith treated on her first day.... Ow and Justin Hartley, can they please make him less lame than he is now? Why can't he be the "Alex" of this show, the whole "George-but with better looks" personality is not working for me.
