Figured that phone call was going to be about Mark. Glad it was Derek who called. Pissed at Violet for having a meltdown and interrupting, though.
I laughed so hard at high Violet and Cooper. That was just hilarious. And I really want pizza, tbh.
Love that Charlotte and Cooper are going to take Lucas if Violet dies. Would be a crapload of work, but that's sweet. And aww at Addison wanting Amelia to take Henry.
Sam continues to be annoying, so ugh.
Sheldon's patient is just ugh. That was uncomfortable and really wrong.
It was just really depressing, I think it could have been better. They could have almost done flashbacks without having to bring Tim Daly back, oh well..
Mixed feelings all the way! I absolutely hated that they created the Sheldon case. Any other episode I would have enjoyed it. Here, was just out of place and completey boring and annoying. It reminded me a lot of the season 4 episode after Bizzy dies that is spent in Addison's hometown but in which they also have Violet and Sheldon back in LA dealing with a patient. Why doing that? Just boring and out of place. As for the rest of the episode, I really enjoyed it. The best parts, for me, were the performances. Amy Brenneman and Kate Walsh absolutely killed it. They are messed up people, so I think it was truthfull to the characters to have them react to death in a messed up- non coventional way. This being said, I think they could have done ven better, but then again, I had very high expectations. Little things I really enjoyed, such as the Amelia/Addison scene (btw, we didnt have nearly enough Amelia as we should have this episode!), the Addison reference to the time she spent with Pete, Addison's reaction to Mark's death, Violet and Cooper scene at the end. So I liked it a lot (this part of the episode, the b-plot, as i've said annoyed the hell out of me), but it could have been slighly better, the premiere was a better episode.
Sheldon's pedo case seemed totally out of place in this episode, which really bugged me. It's something that they haven't really done before, sure, but it split the episode in a really strange way. It felt like I was watching two separate episodes at once, and was really frustrating... and I can't decide what about it frustrates me more - that it did Pete's memory a disservice or that it didn't give the case the time that it deserved. Ah, well.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
