  1. Pretty good episode overall....

    - Always nice to see Enrico Colantoni back as Elias, but I don't think bright orange is his color!
I'm sure he's not fond of wearing it either. XD

    - I loved Fusco doing his best Alcohol Fairy impersonation providing free drinks for the barfly.

    - Noticed Bear reacting to his trainer more tonight. Couple times saw him reacting to off screen instructions. Of course he is always doing that, but tonight I could see it more than normal due to editing I guess.....

    - Can Jonathan Tucker get cast as something other than an Irish gangster please? XD
Okay I've seen him portray that type a handful of times and he does the role well, but I would like to see him on his own show in something a bit different I guess. I find him a very engaging actor.

    - Speaking of... I don't think I have seen Liza J Bennett (Annie) before in anything, but I quite liked her!

    - Loved Finch's playing mental chess with Elias and then moving on to play chess in a more literal manner! XD

I know I had seen Kevin Conway (Massey) on Brotherhood as the the Caffey brothers father, but what has that slouch-eyed hit-man been on? I know I have seen , but I cannot recall where...... Grrr.

Quite a fun episode, but not one of the more intense or engaging episodes to me I guess. I liked Finch still having Root on his mind and thinking of Riley as "Bad Code"... over all though this episode was probably just "Good" for me, but I voted "Great" since I thought it was better than just "OK".

good episode i agree with you darue. Good to see Elias again lol i had no idea who reese or finch were talking about until i saw the orange jacket then im like Elias! Elias was very weird lol chess i liked that. Carter and fusco didnt do much but i liked the case this week and with finch saying bad code lol that got to me and i guess root really damaged him lol.

  3. A "meh" episode. Such a rare thing with POI. Not a bad one (are they even capable of that?) but not one of my favourites.

Bear is awesome - but as DarqueMode noted: it's obvious that he has no real connection with the actor - or that he is distracted by his handler. Still, I think they will work that out and I hope they keep the dog. It's a nice, original twist and has been the catalyst for massive leaps forward in Finch's character development and in the development of the relationship between Finch and Reese.

  4. Awesome episode for me. Nice to see Elias back. The mob plot is always cool for me (I like Boadwalk Empire and mob movies). The action scenes are pretty good this week, Reese beeing a kick ass is always nice to see. Fusco hilarious in the bar scene. I think Finch have a crush for Root ("Bad Code" he not forgot her).

P.S: I think after Carter help Reese, things is gonna be a little awkward between this two, once again she lied to help John

  7. Decent ep but definitely not as strong as last weeks. Like that they kept he continuity with Finch uttering the "bad code" observation that Root said and good to see Elias back onscreen. I also noticed that Bear was looking for his trainer rather than Finch, but nothing that I can't let go. Solid ep.

  15. Thanks.
I know who Conway is though... it is the hitman I cannot place.... I tried to find who the actor was on IMDB but his role was not listed.

  16. It was one of POI's more average episodes, but that still equates to being much better than most stuff on TV at the moment. It was all a tad formulaic and predictable... I even knew that Elias's price was going to be a game of chess as soon as he said about not needing possessions. And the Riley kid was always going to die, you could smell that a mile off.

The trouble with these case-of-the-week episodes is that I just don't care enough about the characters to give a crap who dies or not, no matter how romantic and tragic they try to make it.

  18. what do u think happened to the droopy-eyed hitman at the end?...u think Reese killed him?...☺...

  19. Thank you!

I have seen him in a few older projects like Oz and Kidnapped, but was trying to picture a role I had seen him in more recently... must be Burn Notice reruns...

  20. I don't think he killed him. Probbaly just tied him up and handed him over to Carter... He's an idiot if he didn't take the money though, haha.

  21. I think he did, or is going to. the number 23 was on his apartment door....(B.R. works this usually relates to death)

  22. Really? That doesn't sit well with me. I mean Reese had killed a lot of men, but only when he's needed to. I can't see him killing Droopy in cold blood when he could just as easily tie him up and hand him over. If he has killed him, then he's gone down a notch in my esteem.

  23. Could be, but the "23" usually alludes to death n BR works ever since lost. As a former blacks opps agent, I don't think Reese would have a problem killing the hit man. Especially since he took Annie.

I know there was an episode where Reese did turn in a guy to Carter and another episode where we don't know what happened to yet another guy, but I think if he would have turned him into Carter, the writers would have made a point to show us Reese turning him in, instead they pan out to "behind closed doors". I kind of think when it comes to love stories gone wrong, Reese has a soft spot and wants to get rid of the trash on the street. (this episode reminded him of his situation with Jessica)

The episode also seems like it's setting us up for more mob-related stories down the line, since they reminded the audience that Elias is still here.

  24. Honestly I think Reese would kill the guy before he took the money.

I don't think that working for Team Machine has made him any less of a killer honestly. I think now he just will not kill for unknown reasons like he used to with the CIA. Plus he felt a connection with Riley being that both of them were killers trying to make amends for past actions...

  25. I bet he is now where Reese put Peter Arndt and Marshall Jennings Penitentiary in Mexico.
