I love how there was this big/romantic musical swell when Michael was kicking the shit out of those officers and trying to get Nikita's ring back. Only on Nikita, LOL!
Awesome return that set the mood very quickly that all wasn't the same and wine and roses... Loved that Niki is still very much on the edge about everything, and at odds with Ryan, who doing his best to play the part and keep Division alive/around unbeknownst to everyone.. of course I suspect that info will eventually have to come out after a possible headbutting showdown with Niki. Loved that Birkhoff got some great lines, "Oh no she didn't!" lol and the reveal that he tried too hard with Sonya (loved Nikita calling him out on his staring at her picture). Loved seeing Alex and Sean as well, and that the team was as well oiled as before when things got rolling. And of course the best scene was Nikita's face when Micheal said that he was going back for her ring.... great welcome back ep!
Awesome episode. Michael lasted all of five seconds against Nikita's seduction. You have an iron will buddy. I foresee a very cold shower in his immediate future. It took half the episode for Alex to appear, but when she did, daaaaamn.
When he proposed to Nikita I recalled that scene where Michael said to his first wife that there would never be another woman for him. This is a good time to be wrong.
This show. I love it! I just can't get enough. I'm so excited for this season, and really loved this episode - well worth the wait! Ryan, yes! Birkoff, yes! Alex, yes! Sean, yes! MICHAEL AND NIKITA! YES! I love it when my guiltiest of guilty pleasure shows is actually friggin' awesome and fun. Here's hoping it survives another season on Friday night!
Loved it! The end had me smiling from ear to ear. I laughed so hard when Michael is beating up a load of guys for the *spoiler* and Nikita's just watching and it's slow motion and then they have to get away! I'm so glad we got to see Sean and Alex too! And Birkhoff in all his glory. This show is too amazing!!
Am I the only person that had Quantum Leap flashbacks about the end fo the introduction voice over? LOL
Poor Michael....Nikita's mission based epiphany was, um, ill timed. :-)
So Nikita shows up to work in yoga gear. Birkoff is...well. gloriously Birkoff and I'm thinking... just last week Ryan was a relatively low level flunky and now he's in charge and the only guy in a suit... he might be trying just a tad too hard....and...turns out he was trying too hard. I am beyond happy they Birkoff is still on the scene and as awesome as EVER
Seriously, I think Michael dashing across the street, gun in hand, yelling that he had to get her engagement ring, was my favorite TV proposal EVER. If they break them up now I will become dangerous.
Absolutely loved the episode, especially the scenes about the engagement ring :D:D:D:D:D absolutely AWESOME!!!!! the writers better give us a wedding before the season ends, because if they brake them up I'm gonna be really angry! Great start of the season, reall kick ass :D:D:D:D
...ryan is totaly screw he almost betray nikita about the suppose deal he makes to the govermment she will make his director position a living hell we be so happy how thats was evolve all engagement ring proposal very classic spy thing very james bond specially when she said give me my gun back.,ja,.ja.,ja..and michael smiling ..fantastic
One of the best shows on tv right now the return was epic Nikita is a good is it that people do not know about it or are they busy watching Honey boo boo
I over all liked the episode. I know it wasn't supposed to feel the same, but it kinda put me off. I didn't really like how it took half of the episode before Alex was even seen, as well as Sean. Though when she took her jacket off in Nikita's room I was half expecting she would be wearing a bunch of grenades and hand guns underneath….I was a little disappointed that she wasn't..lol. I though the Nikita and Michael scenes were sweet, especially with the ring. Liked how Birkhoff was wanting to do all the work by himself and just pushed the other Division members aside, also not to mention his jokes…classic Birkhoff. I thought it was a good episode and I cant wait for the rest of the season, as it should only get better.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Awesome episode.
ReplyDeleteSo happy Michael proposed! :D I had a feeling there was an engagement ring in his pocket when he was being "jumpy".
I wish it was longer!

ReplyDeleteAwwww. The look on Nikita's face when Michael said he had to go back for her ring was sweet. They better not break this couple up.
ReplyDeleteSo I'm thinking the gang needs to lose Division to get more tension back. Maybe the government will assign a new bad guy to run it?

ReplyDeleteAmazing!!! Just love it, I don't know if was because I missed soo much the show or because was damn good!!!
ReplyDeleteNikita is so not my guilty pleasure. I'd gladly shout from rooftop I watch Nikita. lol ;)
ReplyDeleteI think when Amanda shows back up and the Russian guy (his name slipped my mind) things will get more intense.
ReplyDeletelol, perhaps I didn't use guilty pleasure in the right context, because I too proclaim it's awesomeness to anyone who will listen. :)
ReplyDeleteOMG that was brilliant. I can't believe Michael actually told her why he went back,
