    First day of school in our "middle" family: with a jock, an optimist, and a compulsive reader, what are the odds of mischief and problems? .. ah, well. And did I mention Frankie encounters a situation that's all too familiar to many American families (although not as much where I live, feels that the worst has passed, but still, I could totally relate.)
