  5. After I finished watching this episode I realized that I'm glad that there will only be 10 episodes to give this show a send off. Whether it will be a proper one is yet to be seen...

The writers have exhausted all options in terms of story lines... Serena wants a new start, Chuck tries to take over Bass Industries, Lily is a true bitch, Dan is writing another book, etc... Then the writers figured, since we don't have anything original to write, we are going to pair up two characters that will make the viewers hurl... Rufus and Ivy... *yuck*!! Yes, of course, it is part of Ivy and Lola's grand scheme, but still *yuck*!! Just hope that this show, one which I've been watching since the beginning will eventually ends in a way that everyone will appreciate.

  6. Not a fan of Georgina but she's alright. Ivy and Rufus total eww, she's just manipulating him to make Lily mad and then she'll break up with him. Wonder how long till everyone finds out. Liked the Chair scenes, hopefully they figure out whatever they need to do fast cause they don't have much time. The change from Ostroff to Pedowitz was funny along with the Country Strong reference.

  7. Well, I guess my fears were right about GG for the umpteenth time. Lame, lame, lame. Our little inside jokes were priceless but everything else fell flat, even Chair was subdued and muted, IMHO. Dan and Georgina were highlights for me but Ivy and Rufus getting it on, no thank sir. It was nice to have Josh, Stephanie and Piznarki (he has directed a ton of GG episodes) back and I could see their fingerprints all over without having to check the credits. But too little to late. Serena, really just get over yourself and grow the hell up. The guy she's with, umm, just no, she lied to about EVERYTHING, how can she still be the love of your life? Lily and Bart please just GTFA, immediately. Chuck, you forgot to mention you're Chuck Bass (how dare you, it's our thing). Blair, you will never have Manhattan and should have never told Serena to stay, now she is going to let her light shine and you will probably smash her face into some cake or something. Dan, just move to Seattle or Portland or something, they'd appreciate you there but you must take Milo and Georgina with you. Vanessa, come home and hook up with Rufus, it's your destiny (in any GG book lovers opinion anyway). Jenny, stay gone. I use to miss you but the actress that plays you has tainted my opinion of you and the writers always faltered right when your story line was getting juicy. Eric, as much as I don't like you on Revenge please don't return to the city. The upper east side is too good for you. Up until you slept with Rufus, I was rooting for you Ivy but now, I hope the NJBC serves up a classic take down. Nate, you're so precious trying to but your big boy pants on but alas you are doomed to fall for another guest star with a suspicious agenda. At least she doesn't vaguely look like Serena or is cougar/madame.

  8. This episode was funnier than usual -- actually very rarely that a GG episode was funny. I think I like it!

  9. It wasn't great but it was a huge improvement from the travesty of S5 with Blair's wedding to the guest star no one wanted, the Dairsaster in the second half, Bart returning from the dead, Lily turning cold blooded beyotch last minute and Chuck's "Who's my daddy/Who's my mommy" mess. Georgina was funny, Dan was a douche, Nate was awesome and Chuck and Blair were sexiness and sweetness personified. But the episode wasn't half as great as anything from S1 and S2 or the few really good episodes from S3 and S4.

  10. i enjoyed it. it was not groundbreaking or anything, but at this point that is what gossip girl is. Some cool, albeit predictable storylines, some nice one-liners here and there. It was fun. I dont know how much longer i would stick around for gossip girl honestly, there were times in which i almost abandoned it, but now that its ending it actually feels better, i can just sit and enjoy the last ones
