As Regina tries to refrain from using her magic in order to regain Henry's trust, she starts seeing a ghost from her past; Mary Margaret and Emma find a survivor from an Ogre massacre; Regina struggles to learn the dark arts.
At first I was confused to see that Regina was stopping to do magic and yet learning more dark arts, but then I realized that is "past" Regina before becoming evil queen. I so wish that the ghost from her past would be her mother, muahaha.
Yeah, I know, but I thought they were using the expression "ghost from her past" not literally, but in a figurative way, as someone who haunts another person. If her mother is alive she could fairly well have been transported to storybrooke and could have been leading a normal life until she remembered who she was and starts showing up in some places to be spotted by Regina (and then quickly go away) and torture her mentally with the idea that her mother might be back, yet not beeing seen too close or for too long for Regina to be able to be sure.
So let's just skip to this chapter already, shall we? *--* I really wanna know why the chapter is called "the doctor" even though the synopsis is all about Regina.
I wonder if Rumple has something to do with Regina seeing Daniel's ghost? Another way to torture her? Or it's an aftereffect of her being "marked" by that Dementor thing? Glad to see Noah Bean's back. He and Lana Parrilla have great chemistry and I want to know more about Daniel.
I soooo hope this means there's a chance Daniel might return. The important question is why her refrainment from magic would cause her to see his ghost...

is the ghost who Dr Whale is in FTL?
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in Emma and Mary adventures¡ :)
ReplyDeleteThe ghost is Daniel, I think

Well, her mother's still alive.
ReplyDeleteReally? Awesome! I really like the character and Barbara Hershey.

Whale and Regina are implied to have a shared backstory up to a certain point.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought at first, but considering they've seen Noah on set, Daniel makes more sense...
ReplyDeleteOh, great news! I did not know that.

ReplyDeleteHer mother is still in fairytale land though, with Snow and Emma.
ReplyDeleteShe's in all the promos. She appears in the promo that aired after the episode on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteOh, right. Oops. Anyway, it is apparently Daniel :P
ReplyDeleteWho?
ReplyDeleteI hope it's Daniel's ghost!
ReplyDeleteI hope the stuck in fairytale land story doesn't go on for too long though. I'd like them to get back mid-season at least.
I really hope Emma and MM don't stay in FTL for the whole season. Glad to see Daniel back!

ReplyDeleteVery interesting question, actually. It could open the door to a lot of possibilities.
ReplyDeleteI just want to say it's hilarious that there's a successful primetime network show putting out a synopsis containing term "ogre massacre."
