I am really anxious for the next episode and this one most so far.
ReplyDeleteLOL Noah Bean "as man" we all know he's Daniel!
ReplyDeleteDoes the title refer to Regina's therapy sessions or to the up untill now unmentioned (in the press release) Dr. Whale?
ReplyDeleteWho the hell is this survivor?
Another Regina centric episode so soon? Ha, interesting.
ReplyDeleteAlso, what's up with Noah Bean as man?
And yay, Sebastian Stan as Jefferson!
Sounds like a great episode. Add me to those rolling their eyes at "Noah Bean as man". Come one ABC. We know who he is. Looking forward to see him on OUAT again. If they bring him Daniel's ghost probably interacts with Regina in some way. Otherwise they wouldn't have bothered. He'll probably tell her that he's not happy she's turned to magic and went on a crusade against Snow after his death.
ReplyDeleteSounds pretty good!
ReplyDeleteThat press release almost makes it sound like Regina sees an actual, physical person in Storybrooke and believes it can only be a ghost, instead of her seeing a ghost in the ghostly sense.
ReplyDeleteAnd who are they kidding by listing Noah Bean as "man"? Now I almost have hope that Daniel is alive in Storybrooke. October 28, I can't wait for you!!!
Yeah, yeah. "Man", sure.
ReplyDeleteBut does the list of guest stars actually allows the conclusion that the person Emma doesn't trust is Hook? It does fit the romantic theory between the two but I was under the impression that we would see his story on episode 4.
And, considering the title, where do you guys think Whale's story fits in all this?
Yes...I was hoping somehow Daniel would some how appear in the present...
ReplyDeleteSo Killian Jones is Hook (could this by an extension to POTC with Davy JONES Locker?) -And is he the man Emma and Mary Margaret discover, that Emma thinks is lying?
And surely it has to be called "The Doctor" for a reason, hopefully it points to something Dr. Whale related...
Maybe they call him "man" because what Regina sees is an image of Daniel, but maybe it's really not Daniel???
ReplyDeletePerhaps Noah Bean isn't playing the part of Daniel in this episode. Maybe he's what Regina "begins seeing what she believes is a ghost from her past". The press release even got the hyphenate names right for the cast, including newly added guest stars. I wonder if "Noah Bean as man" isn't necessarily an error as a purposeful casting choice.
ReplyDeleteI have the same exact questions! :D
ReplyDeleteNoah Bean is back but I'm not convinced it's Daniel. I'm half expecting this to be Cora somehow messing with Regina's head.
ReplyDeleteGood question...the only thing that would make sense is if Regina goes to Whale for help, because she isn't sure if she's seeing things or not...
ReplyDeleteI might be in the minority here, but I think it's too early for a Regina backstory after the second episode...
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of hoping against all hope that they'll do a Princess Bride thing with Daniel. I know it's a long shot and that stable boy doesn't exactly equal farm boy, but it's relatively close and it would be ridiculously awesome to have a Dread Pirate Roberts sailing the seas of the fairy tale world with Captain Hook.
ReplyDeleteThe more Regina episodes, the better. :)
ReplyDeleteIts never too early for another Regina episode. Its better than a Snow/Charming episode; those all end up being the same: 'we're together! we're separated! I will find you! You found me! I will always find you. we're together! we're separated....'
ReplyDeleteMy theory: The Doctor is referring to Doctor Whale who is Dr. Frankenstein. Regina takes Daniel's body to him in hopes that Dr. Frankenstein can resurrect him. Things don't turn out as she hoped, and what is brought back isn't Daniel... it's Frankenstein's monster!
ReplyDeleteWell, I agree, but I was hoping that we could see more background story of Red, I mean how she's going to cope with the magic is coming stuff that she's a werewolf. Or even the story after Hopper became Cricket and how he helped Pinocchio's father coped with his parents being puppets. You know, a lot more interesting stuffs. I'd like it more if everyone's story is dispersed well throughout the season.
ReplyDeleteHahah! I totally LOL'ed at that! :p
ReplyDeleteCould it be a Doppelgänger?
ReplyDeletePossible. They already did the twin thing with Charming though. Maybe someone hit Regina with some sort of magical whammy?
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see Regina freaking out.
ReplyDeleteCould not agree more, you literally took the word's out of my mouth. The 'I will always find you' line is the most annoying thing on this show and it is never too early for Regina episodes.
ReplyDeleteThat's the best.
ReplyDeleteYou and me both. I know she's trying to change but I'm of the opinion that she'll have to hit rock bottom before she really gets better in any lasting way.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind getting more background on main charcters instead of some random background for a character that doesn't add anything to the show.
ReplyDeleteBut I think OUAT is a mix of "character-of-the-week" and spanning-story arc. Even the character-of-the-week also contributes to the development of the main characters' storylines. For example, Cinderella's story was how we knew how Rumpel got caught and Hansel and Gretel story was how we know about the character of Henry's father. And don't you think background characters are also enjoyable to watch? I personally enjoy the story of Hansel and Gretel, Grumpy, Cinderella, Red, etc.
ReplyDeleteI would love love the survivor to have something to do with Daniel, but I have little hope.
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteProbably.
ReplyDelete100% agree.
ReplyDeleteOh, ya right, Archie's a doctor too! ::face palm::
ReplyDeleteI'm betting Dr. Whale is a doctor in FTL as well....Dr. Frankenstein...and Daniel is the monster...explains why hes a man (sort of) and not listed as Daniel
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Dr. Whale is a Dr. in FTL as well....perhaps Dr. Frankenstein.....and Daniel as the Monster....explains why he is listed as man and not Daniel
ReplyDeleteI think Killian Jones is Hooks SB name so he can't be the survivor.
