Hot damn, I know where he'll be headed after this scene! Regina's house!!! Gosh, I cannot contain my inner fangirl... I know they'll be hostile towards each other again, but I'm still giddy about the Evil Charming scenes!
This implies some hilarious interactions from Charming with both Rumple and Regina(especially Regina since Charming and Regina really play well off each other as shown in the premiere)
This episode is becoming more and more fascinating.
Ok, now I am more convinced that the thing or person needed to break the curse must be outside of Storybrooke, because when they had no memory of FTL, something bad always happened when people left town. Now that they have FTL memory, this memory gets erased in the moment they leave town in order to make it impossible for them to leave town and try to break the curse, because if they leave town they will forget all about the curse.
I loved his story as David - it was exploration of everything flawed in Charming.
Charming is an idolized version of him. David is the most flawed parts of him, the end result should be a very interesting and multilayered person with flaws and good sides both.
Writers did already say that Storybrooke personalities are not "something fake". They are flawed version of those characters and to those characters both lives are just as real, making the end result of who they are now depend on both of their lives. in storybrooke and ftl.
Omg poor Charming...All people want him to solve things. I understand it as Charming, everyone expects that from him, as he did in the fairy tales world
Hmmm maybe he is PeterPan. He wouldn't have been able to be with Tinkerbell for obvious reasons when she was a fairy. All the fairies came back as nuns though.
Love Charming taking charge of the situation. Whale's biggest concern is if he can date the nuns? I daresay Leroy/Grumpy might be interested in the answer to that question too...
I agree with InvestedInYourFuture. Last season was all about exploring how the Storybrooke characters would be if they were completely opposite from their FTL character. For Prince Charming, he was the epitome of bravery and morality. What would David naturally be like? A cheating, scared human being. So, in a sense, his storyline /was/ terrible because he had to be the complete opposite of Prince Charming.
I think that's what makes this season all that more powerful -- we finally got to see their former, hopeless characters from Storybrooke break out into their admirable FTL characters. :)
Charming wasn't really all that moral. He ran away from his deal with King George. But Charming also never had to deal with any moral quandaries like David had. Whereas David never had anything physical to deal with, only emotional.
I love this clip. I love that after the storm...CHAOS erupts...and it's kind of great looking at this guy and knowing that it's not David but Charming that's will deal with it. David could barely decide what pants to wear today....Charming will make a plan.
"Are they still nuns or can they...date?" haha!! Geppetto looking for his son is heartbreaking. And tragic,b/c a)he's so close to his father and his father is unaware of that and b) he's the one who knows where the tree is!I fear David is gonna chase after his tail in this ep if he doesn't find August.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Damn, poor Charming. I'm surprised he hasn't had a meltdown.
ReplyDeleteAnd seems that some people are having an identity crisis.
Ohhhh, this season is gonna be great for Josh Dallas. I love him
ReplyDeleteHot damn, I know where he'll be headed after this scene! Regina's house!!! Gosh, I cannot contain my inner fangirl... I know they'll be hostile towards each other again, but I'm still giddy about the Evil Charming scenes!
ReplyDeleteChaos, man.
ReplyDeleteThis implies some hilarious interactions from Charming with both Rumple and Regina(especially Regina since Charming and Regina really play well off each other as shown in the premiere)

I'm glad Josh Dallas has something to do this season. The storyline they gave him last year was horrible.
ReplyDeleteI love this show so much! Poor poor Charming! Everyone depends on him. He could really use some help. Red, maybe?
ReplyDeletegreat sneak peek, can't wait to sunday to see snow and emma in the fairy tale land
ReplyDeleteWhale is even more disturbed than I though... really, is this the moment in which he is supposed to be thinking if it is ok to date a nun?
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to Emma's and Snows journey, should be interesting, and
ReplyDeleteThe town is on the Fringe of........
chaos
ReplyDeleteWell he wasn't himself before. Guess his real personality from FTL is more disturbed...or at least single minded.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, I hadn't seen it that clear before. Maybe it is a clue to his very disturbed FTL personality....now who the heck could he be...
ReplyDeleteLove Josh as Charming, can't wait to see Snow and Charming together again!!

If so, Emma may have to leave town (when she gets back from FTL) and look for it someday.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah!
ReplyDeleteI loved him as Charming, but his story as David was awful. I'm glad to see that this season he is gonna be one of the best characyers
ReplyDeleteThe only problem is that she will forget all about the curse and stop believing in magic, just like in the beginning.
ReplyDeleteWe do not know on if it affects Emma - Emma was not cursed, for all we know the barrier won't affect her or something.

ReplyDeleteand Dr. Whale?
Well yeah cause experiences change human behavior. Just saying remember leads them to act more like their "old selves".
ReplyDeleteHmmm maybe he is PeterPan. He wouldn't have been able to be with Tinkerbell for obvious reasons when she was a fairy. All the fairies came back as nuns though.

ReplyDeleteIt really does look like his character is gonna have much more to deal with this year and I love it!

ReplyDeleteMaybe? She has already left Storybrooke once.
ReplyDeleteFinally got to listen to this. (Had to watch on mute earlier).
ReplyDeleteMan, I have a headache for Charming. lol
Haha! Leroy is great. "Terrible news!"
ReplyDeleteI love this clip. I love that after the storm...CHAOS erupts...and it's kind of great looking at this guy and knowing that it's not David but Charming that's will deal with it. David could barely decide what pants to wear today....Charming will make a plan.
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud at the timing of that joke.
ReplyDelete"Are they still nuns or can they...date?" haha!!

Don't forget David now knows that Regina/Evil Queen hitted on him in a previous ep!Awkward!!
ReplyDeleteIt think the pt is that he is not panicked. Maybe he knows more thand we think he knows.
ReplyDeleteHmm, could be. He is nevertheless still creepy.
