FX is delaying the return of critical darling Louie from summer 2013 to spring 2014.

During a conference call with reporters Tuesday, FX president and GM John Landgraf announced that Louis C.K. requested and received an extended hiatus between the recently completed third season and the upcoming fourth frame.

    Will Curb Your Enthusiasm ever return!? I didn't even watch the show, but does he really have THAT much power over the networks that he can wait forever before making his decision?

    Larry and HBO have a deal, they basically will always renew Curb if he wants to keep on making it. I think they just really like Larry but also even with big gaps between seasons the ratings keep going up.

    Thanks for explaining it! :) But still, I think it's sort of a mockery to wait sooo long between the seasons. Not just between the seasons, but between announcements. I haven't heard a single thing about Curb in months. If I were a fan, I'd be pissed off not hearing any news. Either I'm somewhat missing the news, or they are really taking their sweet time, hehe.

    Yeah there has been no news other than HBO saying when Larry is ready we will do it, it can get frustrating but then they announce a new season and it's like surprise!
