There will be a funeral in episode 2.12, and 2 Naval chaplains are being cast, one of whom is an Arab Imam. A news reporter and 2 members of the CIA are also being cast.

    The VP has a heart attack in ep 10 I think and he was alone with Brody so either he died from a natural death or Brody kill him

    It was confirmed on digital spy that Damian Lewis has signed another 5 years, so it's not his funeral. Hmm, I wonder who it could be.....

    All these TV actors are signed to standard 7 year contracts, but from episode to episode at the studio's discretion. Their characters can be killed off anytime.

    This funeral is without question Brody's. He's the only character who happens to be muslim and a (former) marine. But that doesn't necessarily mean he will die. Tom Walker also had a funeral while being alive...

    I think not natural causes but not sure if Brody is responsible. It does clear a link to nazir in that tHey teamed to get him. It also makes CIA more suspicious of him and also if the reason to kill Brody was to prevent walden from finding out then it eliminates that. I think though that they just want him dead because embarrasement regardless.

    It was Abu Nazir tampering with the VPs medical implant (I don't know the actual name of the thing) that traiggered the heart attack - with Brody's help.
