I'm trying to remember if Monroe ever came to the precinct, maybe in an early episode? Anyway, it won't take long now for Monroe, with Rosalee, to put 2+2 together, once Juliette's obsession comes to light also.
Great clip! And so many, many ways this could eventually play out! This shows exactly how desperate Renard truly is to get rid of his feelings for Juliette. Desperate enough to risk revealing his biggest secret by even visiting the shop. Eventually Monroe is going to remember or find out that Renard is Nick's boss, it's just a matter of timing. And he'll piece together just who Renard is obsessed with. And, one more important fact that Monroe does get from this - is that Renard doesn't want the feelings, he needs them to go away. This fact may help save the relationship between Nick and his boss when everything comes out eventually. From what we know at the moment, he is as much of a victim as Juliette in this.
I wonder just how long it will take until Monroe realizes who he is. From the Canadian promo and from one of the stills released this week, it seems that Renard is receiving an award and that the police characters are all at the award function (and Juliette). Will the press be at the function? Could a picture of Renard receiving the award end up in the paper and Monroe will see it? How long until he would tell Nick? Does this scene happen after the function? So many questions and only one hour a week! Is it Friday yet? ;)
So that's what the function is. I thought it might be a wedding. During the function, Hank and Nick are called on a case and Renard offers to drive Juliette home. In another synopsis, Renard comforts Juliette on her difficulties with Nick, and that would be during the drive or at her house. From this, I would imagine the obsession would grow worse after their meeting, and so Renard would go to the shop after the function. Almost Friday!!
I don't know... I wonder how long he's been in Portland and in his current job? It will completely change the dynamic if/when he is found out. Well, depending on how the whole royalty, half-hexenbiest thing works that is. I hope we'll get some kind of Nick/Renard confrontation at some point, maybe by the end of the season?
I think the obsession comes from Renard and Juliette kind of remembers and it creeps her out or makes her uncomfortable for unknown reason to her. At any rate, I don't think they're going to do 'anything'.
i never did like that captain since day 1...wasnt he the one who sent that blonde into the hospital to kill Nick's aunt?....i hope he dies by the season Finale...☺...
The question I have: Does Renard know who MONROE is? And, if so, why would he risk exposure? He's got to have someone -- a wesen underling -- who can go to the shop and get him what he needs.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteHe was there in "The Three Bad Wolves," but didn't see Renard.

ReplyDeleteHow long can Grimm keep this up without anyone catching on to Renard?

ReplyDeleteaka for me, stay away till episode 22 airs.
ReplyDeleteI'm not suggesting that anyone has to figure him out right away but you'd have to figure that someone would start getting suspicious already.
