Another Shepherd sister is coming out of the woodwork on Grey’s Anatomy.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Party of Five vet Neve Campbell is set to appear in multiple episodes of ABC’s long-running medical drama as one of Derek’s (Patrick Dempsey) four sisters.

    About frikkin time. GA has been to busy developing romantic relationships and neglected developing family relationships. I am really disappointed that they never do anything with the third Grey-sister.

    we do need more characters. This is not an insular show. This is about a hospital, these doctors have patients and families and romantic relationships. I for one like the variety that new cast members can bring.

    Outside of the occasional miniseries or Lifetime movie, Neve Campbell doesn't do TV much anymore and she's certainly not your prototypical Grey's casting.

    Thank you i know what its about.Shondra has added new people already,the cast will be larger than last year and enough people bitched about it then,Who wasn't getting enough screen time,or storyline..Adding to the cast is fine,just don't add them all around the same time.Add more characters as patients,spread it little more like ER with cast coming and going.

    True! I somehow hope that Amelia Shepherd will make an appearance too. Like this: Amelia has another relapse and Derek goes to California. Shocked to see Neve's character there as he didn't have contact with her for 10 years or something like that. When the problem with Amelia has been resolved, Derek leaves for Seattle with Neve following him, making amends, even taking place in the internship to just talk with him. We have had a Grey in the interns. I think it might be fun if we have another Shepherd in the interns. Just a theory/idea..

    oh ok. Your first comment implied you didn't want any but the remaining 11 regulars. I have never been bothered by screen time as I've always been a fan of the ensemble but you are right they should ensure an even spread throughout the season. The problem with only having extras as patients is that there is little room for romance or even family (though this can be achieved at a stretch). Alex will not get any romance unless they bring in someone. Likewise Bailey & Richard.

    Write her simply as a doctor who has fallen from grace a few years ago. Something like that. That would explain why Derek never talks about her but about Amelia..
