    Except for Van Alden's storyline, which is awful. They should have let that character disappear when he shot the prohi in the foot and escaped last season. Sigrid Mueller is more enjoyable to watch now and she doesn't really do anything.

    I kind of like Van Alden's story, I wasn't a huge fan of it last year when he was stuck with Lucy but I feel oddly bad for him right now. Might just be my bias towards Michael Shannon though I could probably watch a 90 min film of him failing to sell irons.

    Although I do like Michael Shannon (he recently mentioned interest in being on Parks & Recreation, which I thought would be hilarious) his plot is so out of synch with the rest of the show that it seems jarring and forced to me. His scenes bring each episode to a grinding halt because they interrupt the narrative of the rest of the show.

    BWE needs to figure out how to reintegrate him back into the main plot of the show.
