it's Aidan, hehe.... well not that much information, but now I'm more intrigued, why would they dig up corpses??, whose corpses??!!, ooooh this is too cruel they shouldn't put this stuff so far away from the season premiere!!
Whoops, lol. That's what happen if you depend on spell corrector as for the corpses, maybe Aidan wants to form a team to go against the mother, well, I'm assuming that corpses is meant to be vampires.
Loving the beard Aidan even if you didn't mean to grow it out =P (also enjoyed your Montreal Celine hair) I always wonder in each supernatural show about things like hair growing, eating human food if you're a vamp, needing to go to the bathroom etc. Hope they brought you a good dinner Aidan!
Yay! every little bit they give us makes me want more! Who could the mysterious red sweater person who opens Aidan's coffin be? Looks like Sally tried once again unsuccessfully to sleep. Wonder what she will get herself into now. Come on Jan 14th hurry your ass up!
I have wondered as well about how Aidan's bodily functions work. It seems to be implied by his response to Josh's cooking in 1.5 that he either finds human food disgusting or can't taste it. I wanna say he can't taste it. Either way if his body can digest human food which makes sense because he has to act human sometimes which includes eating, than he has to get rid of it somehow. Thus he must use the bathroom. Then he also clearly has blood in his veins(we see him several times covered in blood after being beaten) which supports his being able to experience arousal and probably could father a dhampire child with a human woman(I'd usually be more detailed but it might be inappropriate here). As for his hair, I am guessing his bodily function paired with the fact that a corpse's hair actually DOES grow for like an additional year I think makes it possible for his hair to grow. I just recently learned that for myself and it's creepy but I think it's true. That's what I have gathered anyway. It certainly makes far more sense than Edward Cullen's bodily functions and his having fathered a child. Any vampires make more sense really even the Salvatore brothers of the Vampire Diaries. But I have to say I think Aidan is the most brilliant blend of traditional and modern lore ever written with some of his own clever twists(ex. Juniper being poisonous to him), his character is pretty much perfection.
Uh, sorry, wherever you heard from that hair growths after death was lying to you. Hair does NOT grow after death, what happens is the skin of the deceased person loses moisture and constricts (or tightens/shrinks, however you wanna say it), this causes the hair to protrude farther from the skin than it otherwise would, making it look as though it has grown a few millimeters. So, his hair actually being able to grow would probably be a result of the fact that he is a supernatural being, and although he is technically dead, he isn't actually dead. If that makes any since to anyone but me. Sorry again, I just really don't like misinformation, especially in regards to anything medically related. But, agreed, Aiden's powers make much more sense than many other descriptions of vampires out there. Even more sense than the original BBC Being Human's Mitchell. The character is near perfection, and Sam Witwer being the face of that character doesn't hurt either... even if I'm more of a Sam Huntington/Josh fan. :) In fact, in regards to how the characters are designed and portrayed, this whole show makes more sense than a lot of others in the Scy-Fi genre. ..... Medic Stogs .....
I just came to realization that today is already january 14 and that Syfy start their winter session schedule. Oh how i miss Being Human, the show i mean :D
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
