  3. Can't wait for the new episode! This show has everything I enjoy, action sequences an ass-kicking as well as drama, mystery and romance. Please tell me this show has been picked up for 22 episodes.

  12. So basically since Vampire Diaries came out =P. I wouldn't be surprised if they announce a full pick up before the second episode airs.

Possibly. By the third, anyway. I surely hope so. I really want to find a great series with a good evolving mythology. Being able to follow a show and interact with a like minded online community is a very cool thing that I am old enough to appreciate as "sci fi come to life". Shows like Arrow tend to spawn a very active and diverse online presence which appeals to me.

That it concerns some of my favorite comic book characters of all time is a super bonus. I tend not to be a big fan of characters who *are* supernatural such as Superman, Green Lantern and Hulk. I prefer a more preternatural hero (Green Arrow, Batman, Ironman) whose skill sets and characters are based upon their human-ness and rely on tools and suits and such.

I think this is why those types of characters work better in movies. I mean, there was no way to make Superman fly that did not come off as silly and unrealistic. The stuff Batman does rarely stretches one's ability to suspend disbelief to the breaking point - but I never did regain my respect for Superman the first time I saw him fly on film :)

  14. this show is good, people need to watch it, and also to comic fans, myself included, don't be too much of a purist and not watch it because its not like the original or not like your favorite storyline. its definitely worth the watch.
