09/20/2012 (09:00PM - 09:30PM) (Thursday) : THE OFFICE BEGINS ITS FINAL SEASON. Jim (John Krasinski) and Dwight (Rainn Wilson) are thrown off balance by the arrival of two young employees (Clark Duke and Jake Lacy) that the others dub "the new Jim" and "Dwight, Jr." Andy (Ed Helms) comes back from Outward Bound leadership training with a desire for vengeance on Nellie (Catherine Tate). Will Oscar (Oscar Nunez) adopt Angela’s (Angela Kinsey) cat? Kevin (Brian Baumgartner) saves a turtle. Jenna Fischer, Ellie Kemper, Craig Robinson, Mindy Kaling, B.J. Novak, Paul Lieberstein, Leslie David Baker, Phyllis Smith, Kate Flannery, Creed Bratton also star.

  1. I like the idea of Jim/Dwight teaming up to battle the new usurpers... The J/D dynamic was the best part of last season for me and it will be interesting to see how this is written as the show counts down to the end and as The Farm show is developed for a backdoor pilot

  3. I'm actually really excited for Clark Duke... and it would be cool for the show to go out with a new "Jim and Dwight" - it really brings things full circle, and it's even better that Jim and Dwight Sr. are teaming up. That was the best part of season 8.
