Thanks to Laura3341 for the heads up.
Henry Ian Cusick is about to play one (potentially) shady brotha.
The Lost alum will join CBS’ The Mentalist for a three-episode arc in its upcoming Season 5, Deadline reports. He’ll play Tommy Volker, a rich thrill-seeker possibly tied to a TV reporter’s murder.
Cusick recently left ABC’s Scandal, where he played an associate of Kerry Washington’s Olivia Pope. He also appeared in Fringe’s 2036-set “Letters of Transit” hour earlier this year and guest-starred in a pair of Law & Order: SVU episodes in 2010. And of course, the actor portrayed Lost’s lonely wanderer Desmond from 2005–2010.
The Mentalist return to CBS Sunday at 10/9c.

This should be good. Hope that he is going to show up on Fringe, too, at some point in s5.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't he have somewhere better to be, like Fringe?? ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's what i thought when i saw the article on twitter! I hope he makes an appearance,i mean besides being stuck in amber! :)
ReplyDeleteA three episode arc? I like that!
ReplyDeleteBruno Heller said that Lisbon will find her own Red John on a three episodes arc!! Does it means it's him???! :0 omg
ReplyDeleteIs that the same character Lisbon is gonna be obsessed to catch? A bit like her version of Patrick's Red John?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it's ALWAYS good to see Henry!
A rich thrill-seeker? Sounds like Walter Mashburn. Hope it's not going to be a more villainous clone of that character.
ReplyDeleteSounds like this might be Lisbon's own personal Red John.
ReplyDeleteYes. They said 2 new guys will be cast in that storyline. This is one of them.
ReplyDeleteSo this is the criminal that Lisbon will be obsessing over. Nice casting.
ReplyDeleteSounds great. Can't wait to see it ;)
ReplyDeleteSorry Henry left Scandal but I love him in everything I've ever seen him in and look forward to seeing him on The Mentalist. Talk about seeing someone else in another life, LOL!
