The Goodwin Games - Casting News - Adam Rodriguez gets recurring role

Adam Rodriguez has crunched the numbers and will play a college math professor on Fox’s upcoming midseason comedy The Goodwin Games. In a recurring role, the former CSI: Miami star will guest-star as Ivan, a grade school friend of Chloe (Becki Newton) who becomes not only her professor but also a potential love interest. Carter Bays — who created The Goodwin Games with fellow How I Met Your Mother executive producers Craig Thomas and Chris Harris — describes Ivan via email as “a scrawny, insecure nebbish with crippling allergies,” adding: “Obviously Adam Rodriguez was the first person we thought of!” Rodriguez could appear in as many as four of the first 13 episodes.
