  1. I KNEW IT! So happy about the "Sam is Neal's dad" theory being right!

And aww at Peter and Neal making up. So cute, especially since Peter tried so hard.

Ugh at having to wait months for the rest of the seasons.

  2. It was obvious after last week's epi that Sam was Neal's dad... still i can't wait to see how the storyline is going to develop!

I think it was great that Neal/Peter had their panel at the end, the whole line about having faith in each other was perfect! i love when they're working together and not fighting!

but why does it have to come back in Jan?? such a loooong wait!!!

  3. How was it obvious after last week's episode? Somehow I just didn't catch it. I considered it a possibility but wasn't entirely sure that's the way they would go. I also thought he could be one of the corrupt cops that took down Neal's father. Did I miss something last week? I remember in the last episode Peter ends up tracking Sam down, talks to him and later Sam calls Neal informing him. Later it's found that Sam has fled and it looks like someone's ransacked his place. Then Neal turns on Peter saying except for work we're done. They found Sam because of you and Ellen because of you. Then in this episode after they find out the real Sam may be dead they start suspecting he's a con man. When Sam's blood is checked after Neal gives it to Peter (after Sam had gotten hurt and bloodied up by his attacker) they say something about him being a D.C. cop and then we see Neal asking him why didn't you tell me you were my father.

  4. I would've been more okay with the reveal of Sam being Neal's dad if they didn't telegraph the hell out of it in the previews and ruin it.

Also I'm glad that Peter and Neal have faith/trust in one another again because it really gets annoying when they don't. After everything they've been through, just be friends.

  5. i know that but after the epi and seeing this week's promo a lot of people guessed that Sam is most likely Neal's father... Jeff Eastin also said that most fans were going to say 'Oh i knew it!'

  6. No hanging and the guys are good. I also wonder if James is good or bad but nothing to fret about for the hiatus. Jeff Eastin is not Moffat. Or Gilligan. Or Kripke.

  9. they always have their cat and mouse thing even when they're being best friends... always the subtle manipulations from Neal, the guarded vigilance from Peter, they can be friends, or allies, or hostile or even active enemies but they're always doing their own version of the tango and playing their game. i love it :D

  10. I thought that the season finale was just awesome and I am so looking forward to the winter season when it arrives in January. I knew that Sam was Neal's father almost right away, but the secrets he still has to reveal to Neal could be crushing when the time comes. They left us in suspense, as usual, but in a different way this time and I think it is better this time around. Now, I just have to pre-order the new season and order season 3. Can't wait for January!

  11. I liked it very much. My only problem is that they spoiled the Sam's reveal in the promo for the episode, which really annoyed me, because I honestly did not see it coming before, but after the promo I went to the episoe thinking it already. Still, very good ep and I liked what they did with the Peter-Neal dynamic. Nice one.

  12. I honestly didn't get the hint that Sam was Neal's dad really until the end..guess the fact I didn't watch the preview helped me :) I rated this episode just as "great" because in my opinion this first part of the season has had better episodes: wanted, most wanted and ancient history my fave so far. In this episode, I had the impression that the whole FBI case was a bit rushed in order to let us see the latest developments between Neal, Peter and Sam. I do really like when Neal and Peter work together on cases, if the involve trying to stop some heist or con is even better! Because in my opinion, Neal is at his best when he's walking the thin line between conman and FBI consultant (just like in Ancient History). As far as Peter and Neal's relationship is concerned, I believe that they will ALWAYS have fights and/or misunderstandings. But it's just the way it is, and after all the writers are right to play it that way in every season: Peter sees Neal always as conman, so trusting him 100% is rather impossible to him. The danger of Neal going behind his back is around the corner each time. Anyway, I liked season 4 so far, and I am waiting for January to arrive to see what J. Eastin and his crew has in store for us! :)
