I just tweeted that I think Sam is Neal's father too. It fits the story line and White Collar as a show. Still unhappy Ellen had to die. She was awesome.
Swear to god they're trying to kill me with this show. But, having said that, if it turns out that Sam is Neal's father, I think I might have to stop watching for a while. I mean, REALLY?
I vote awful because the storyline writing was created to had conflict in a very bad way PETER DECISION TO DISOBEY HIS TRUST WITH NEAL .completely...OFF THE RAIL,CHANGING THE RULES OF THE FIGHT FOR MINUTES ..AGREE..PETER .BETRAY HIM.HE HAD TO LOSE SOME STEM ,ANGER AND FRUSTRATION & THE FINAL SCENE NEAL REACTION .ALSO AGREE PETER BROKEN VERY DELICATE BOUNDARY.BETWEEN JOB AND FRIENSHIP
I like the show, but the times when Peter and Neal are against one another because they betrayed the other's trust (again!) are the worst times during the show. The best is when they're working together, friends, trust is there. Hope this gets resolved quickly.
The practice fight in Neal's apartment --- so fun and Peter holding Neal in the ring and telling him "I was trying to protect you." Super fun episode! ;-)
I guess I'm the only one thinking that this Sam is an impostor... lol all those blackouts in his file made me suspicious... i see conspiracy everywhere hahaha maybe he's Neal's dad and I'm totally wrong... :/
Loved every minute of it! I thought the boxing practice in Neal's apartment was fun. But, the look on Neal's face when he found out that Sam left was just priceless. Peter is only trying to protect him and I hope he realizes that one day. Is Sam Neal's father? I hope we find out next week because it will probably be some cliffhanger for the winter when all is said and done come next Tuesday. I must pre-order this season!
..I..SAW THIS EPISODE FOR A SECOND TIME AND I CONFIRM MY INITIAL OPINION THIS EPISODE WAS AWFUL..FOR PETER..THIS REPRESENT HOW PEOPLE COULD HAD SOME CONTROL OR POWER COULD DAMAGE A RELATIONSHIP OR FRIENDSHIP BECAUSE FOR THE LACK OF RESPECT & TRUST...PETER BLEW .THIS BIG-TIME ,,the next episode is crucial how peter make amends with neal.he really hurt in the deep core of NEAL HEART AND SOUL..HOW THIS FRIENDSHIPS SURVIVE THIS WRECK THE WRITER WILL LETS KNOW HOW THE STORYLINE OF THE NEXT EPISODE UNFOLD.
I hope to NEVER see Neal and Peter without a shirt again. I have been a huge fan of this show from the start, but the last few eps have just not been as good to me. I always had WC my number one show on USA, but it has dropped into 3rd place behind Suits and Covert Affairs. And after seeing Matt without his shirt he has also dropped out of the running for Christian, again just my opinion.
I don't know why people are complaining about the episode, it was one of the best white collar episodes ever for me. The storyline was very good and it flew very naturally, I loved every scene and I loved the dynamics of Peter and Neal relationship. At the end of the day, that's what the show is about, so there has to be conflict. Also, it was very good that for a change, it was Peter who screwed up instead of Neal. However, the high point of the episode was Matt Boomer acting, he was absolutely incredible both during the boxing scene and during the last scenes with Peter. He is vastly underrated I think. I myself have never appreciated him fully up until this episode.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
wow Neil was tryna beat the hell out of Peter. Liz doing her snoop thang oh yea
ReplyDeleteI have a really weird feeling that Sam is Neal's father. And the promo seems to support that theory.
ReplyDeleteAnd oh God, this episode hurt. I don't think the Neal/Peter break-up will last all that long, though.

ReplyDeleteIf Sam /is/ Neal's father, they're certainly telegraphing it. Hoping that's a red herring.

ReplyDeleteAre we supposing that Neal was too young to recognize his own dad when he sees him?
