Ziva and Abby moment was so cute i almost cried. I love how they made it in the present w/ the date stamps. It was executed very well...I knew Dearing wasnt dead though that was obvious! Glad to see the entire gang is back though. Supper stoked for this season!!!!
It was good but but i don't think the Tony Ziva thing was such a big deal, not like it was made out to be.Did i miss something maybe? The storyline was great, well acted and yeah like Spartigus15 said i knew Dearing wasn't dead either..Good to se everyone back together hoping for a great season ahead!
Didn't Glasberg say during the summer the orange walls were over?
All of that Tiva was just laying the groundwork I guess. Still, the shameless flirting was quite enjoyable. It's crazy how comfortable those two are with each other.
..THIS EPISODE WAS PERFECT BUT I THINK THE SOLUTIONS WERE PRESENTED TO FAST THE STORYLINE VERY JUMPY THAT THE WAY THE WRITERS PULL OF ALL THE CHAOS CREATED
Everyone mentions Tony, Ziva will they hook up... This is not a sitcom. I always felt the show was strongest when it revolved around Navy matters, foreign and domestic terrorists and Gibbs at the center of it. The best episodes were always those that were about him, basically. And it is in that domain that I find this episode particularly strong, if a little rushed. Tiva? Gah, who cares. This show is so much more than to workers hooking up (and once it stops being more than that, I can stop watching because there are tons of romcoms out there).
It was 'ok'. The same issue that's been present since the show switched runners continues -- they try to create high drama and suspense and just keep falling short. What was natural just isn't now and hasn't been for a while. The jumping time minimized the damage. McGee's injury had no point and there was no interaction with his team showing any concern. The resolution was just...what was that? Just overall disappointing.
Awesome! The McGee thing was poorly written, but I'm happy he's alright. We knew he would be, but they could have dragged it out a little. I did think that Eli's role was brilliant. He played the most important part(!) - I am being sarcastic, I was SO glad he wasn't actually IN the ep. Glad Gibbs showed some emotion, and glad he killed Dearing. Good to see Jimmy in the intro, and his comedy, They used comedy well in this, unlike in NCIS: LA, where it was used very little. Sad to see Ducky like that, but he will recover. Looking forward to next week!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI loved it! Was so glad McGee wasn't hurt worse - I was expecting him to have to go to the hospital again or something.
ReplyDeleteThe Tiva scenes were great. Loved Gibbs killing Dearing! Hee at Ziva's disapproval of the situation.
Everything about this was perfect!

ReplyDeleteThe whole McGee being injured thing was puzzling. It didn't seem to have had any purpose other than to serve as a good spot for a commercial break.
ReplyDeleteOverall I was disappointed in this episode. I was expecting... more.

Oh how I've waited for this day!! The episode was great and I have to say I'm really excited to see how Palmer & Ducky deal with his recovery :)
