The show is getting better and better. I know that Ryan is the focus of the show, but I hope that in the future they might start trying different combinations of the ensemble together more often like Community has done effectively. Really got a kick out of the Rachel Maddow resemblance jokes
The one new show so far I'm going to keep watching. I just love it. The characters are now completely formed and I feel as though I know everybody. Go On is not Friends, and it's not Community either. It's its own show. Loved the sewing machine story and how it was used to get Ryan in touch with his feelings.
It was a very good episode! I think I have been liking this show more with each episode. I laugh a lot sometimes (when she wouldn't understand that she was a lesbian... that was just hillarious, it cracked me up) but I like it more for the heart that it has. Each character is more and more coming on its own. Besides, Matthew Perry has just been bringing its A Game to this, he has turned into a terrific actor. He amazed me last year on The Good Wife, but he has been nothing short of amazing here as well. The ensemble has certainly kept up with him, but his timing in each scene has bee excellent! Kuddos to him!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I love this show so much. It better get picked up for a full season and then renewed for a second season.
ReplyDeleteI like the friendship Anne and Ryan have got going, And I would so watch "The Lady Bunch", tbh, so A+, Ryan.
I love that Lauren "got the cry" from poor Ryan, and LOL at the end.
Cannot wait for next week!

ReplyDeleteAnne is the best thing about the show, she is so great and I love her interactions with Ryan.
