    That was a brilliant premiere!

    I was pleasantly surprised by the way they played out the Thompson's marital dynamics! At first it seems like Nucky and Margaret have made amends, then at the end we see them fight showing that it is all a fragile facade. To top it off we see Nucky go home, take off his revolver and go to his bedroom.... where his mistress is waiting in what now clearly is a separate residence from Margaret! XDBrilliant.
    I am saddened that Manny was killed off in the episode though. I really enjoyed his character and how he made me feel uncomfortable whenever he was on screen.... RIP Manny.

    I think that was about as well-crafted a premiere as I have seen. It jumped ahead in time, but managed to let us know exactly what happened without heavy exposition. It set up the new power dynamics for the season perfectly as it showed us all our players in their new social and business locations. It introduced the new characters in ways that let us see who they are without spending too much time on them. Just great stuff.

    Very powerful emotional episode. The whole scene of the lady in the hospital broke my heart and I hope Margaret will go on a campaign to support OMG reproductive rights! How appropriate for the 2012 elections. This is a very strong season premiere but I hope they keep it up. It is a shame that Manny is the first to go but he had it coming after what he did to Angela! Richard is my tin man hero! Well, Nucky is such a cry baby. Just because he didn't get his highway to sell illegal booze doesn't mean he would take his anger out on Maggie in front of her son! Now I wonder if he will ever find out about her affair with that handsome Irish hit man! ;)

    I hope and think that will be one of the focuses for Margaret this season. It makes for some potentially powerful drama to be sure.


    I'm not sure I agree about Nucky being a cry baby though! XD
    Peg is lucky to be alive after giving away all the land. Period. I thought she was crazy last year when she found God and she obviously still has no common sense. While I agree completely with her objective of getting health education for women the way she went about it was just tactless and thoughtless.
