  1. I think that was actually too much spoiler. It seems that Mary Margaret and Emma have somehow landed in the Fairytale Land. I wonder if Mary M. got her Snow White look back? I'm sure her daughter'll be impressed with her warrior mother. And It also seems that Regina has problems with magic. Like they always say; Magic here is unpredictable...

  2. "David continues his quest to find Mary Margaret and Emma" wait, what?

    ReplyDelete
  3. If they're in Wonderland it would explain why Barbara Hershey is in the third episode. Since many believe Cora to be the Queen of Hearts. Someone posted the guest star list for both episodes on Tumblr and Barbara Hershey is on it for both of them. 2.02 is a Regina episode with both her parents and little Sow in it. But in 2.03 Cora either has to be in Storybrooke or where Emma and Mary Margaret are. Doesn't make sense for her to be in the flashback with King George.

  4. "
Prince Charming's mother, King George "

There is something wrong with that, right?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Haha, it's kind of a confusing sentence but it's correct if you read it right. :p

    ReplyDelete
  6. Regina probably had to send them back because she doesn't fully have her powers back. Emma is still a huge threat to her.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Yep, I realized after reading a few more times...

    ReplyDelete
  8. And how exactly would Regina send them back if she has no powers?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Don't think so. Seems they disappear at the end of episode 1 and the synopsis for episode 2 says Regina is still working on getting her powers back. Couldn't have been Regina if her magic still isn't working correctly. Unless she sends them somewhere by accident. But my money's on a vortex (like the one Baelfire went through) or Jefferson's hat.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yeah that's what I thought from the spoiler. It says that Regina is still trying to get her magic back so her sending Emma and MM somewhere doesn't make any sense.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Pretty sure she's in the second episode, not the third.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Oh WOW! That was pretty spoiler-ish! -I wasn't expecting them to play with portals yet! In 2x03 it sounds like we are dealing with 3 realities in the episode!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Well the first part of the synopsis says, she is trying to regian them, so she may do so in the course of the episode, or in the event of trying to do something, she then sends MM elsewhere...The second episode no longer says anything about Regina's powers so we may assume she got them before the end of episode 1.

  14. I was hoping for more Wonderland all last season, just because I think Emma doubles as Alice and, "if" Cora is the Queen of Hearts, it would be a good way to learn more about her, as I think she is really Regina's real problem.

Since Henry is trying to talk to Jefferson, I am hopeful that the other reality they go to is Wonderland!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Wonderland would be great! And the Alice angle would be pretty interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I always wanted her to be the Queen of Hearts. I think Regina sent her there.

    ReplyDelete
  17. But... It seems Emma and Snow are already gone by the beginning of episode 2x02 (the first episode described in this article). They're already trying to find a way back in this episode. That's why I think they disappear at the end of the season opener (2x01) and then 2x02 can start out with them working on finding a way back. If that's the case I'm not sure it can be Regina's doing though. Because even if she regains most of her power over the course of or even early in episode 2x02 - Snow and Emma are already gone. If she's the one who sends them somewhere it must be accidental and a side effect of magic not working correctly in our world.

    ReplyDelete
  18. That's what I wanted to say but you worded it a lot better.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I'm pretty sure your right,i read somewhere yesterday that Regina regained her powers..i'll try to find it...

    ReplyDelete
  20. I didn't expect portals this soon either, but it makes sense.Plus they have a lot to cover this season!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oh wow, lots of spoilers there.

I wonder how Mary Margaret and Emma get stuck somewhere else? And I wonder who tries to leave the city limits and what happens? Cause every time before there was just accidents, but for some reason this summary seems to hint at something worst.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hmmm. I see what you mean know because "David continues to". It's sort of weird that they didn't mention any of the guest stars in these synopsis either...

Ok I think I understand now....When you try to leave Storybrooke, you end up in another reality (wonderland)....

    ReplyDelete
  23. Preity Ash is right and I am wrong...If David CONTINUES to look, then she is already gone. --But I think I figured it out. Mary Margret somehow steps outside the city limits- people who do that may get telelported to another reality (possibly Wonderland) now...

    ReplyDelete
  24. This is amazing I can't wait to see it

    ReplyDelete
  25. Does anybody have any idea why the ep is called Lady of the lake?

Is the portal in a lake? (how Fringe!)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Too much Lost Style....
Hardly have the memories back and instantly Charming Family is divided. Again? And after all is true. I feared even going to happen, ... Lost 2 is back but the story line of Once Upon a Time, with Emma and Snow to travel through other worlds ...I hope they do not pass all season 2 out of Storybrooke, because it will be boring and irritating at the same time.Sad: ( Once Upon a Time has not started yet and my desire to see the show starts decreasing

    ReplyDelete
  27. I love to see Charming and Henry together, but I dont understand why Charming and Emma never have scenes of closeness and connection with one another. Starts to be weird, that only Emma and Snow share a friendship and now the mother / daughter relationship.
Why not father and daughter relationship? It is frustrating...

    ReplyDelete
  28. well it's really true...seems Lost 2 will begin in OUat

    ReplyDelete
  29. I believe it's a reference to King Arthur (There are some casting calls that point to this too!) -I thought it was strange that the synopsis didn't mention much about our guest cast...It's def very Fringe and maybe a little Lost! (the whole thing about who can come and go from the Island 'when' thing and the specifics of the barrings perhaps!?)

    ReplyDelete
  30. They are expanding the universe exponentially with few guarantees that they can keep a handle on all the craziness. I was hoping Jane Espenson could keep the Lost-i-ness in line, but I don't think she's around all that much. I'm crossing my fingers, but I doubt they have a plan or can keep a handle on all the new stuff they are adding. Storybrooke with magic and a half broken curse should really be sufficient for drama.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think in a lot way there's really a good deal of Fringe in too, because unlike Lost, the viewer isn't point blank told or introduced to multiple universe/reality, it's implied more indirectly, where in Fringe it becomes definitive....But what I love here is that the realities aren't parallel in terms of time and space (they each have their own looks and set of quantum mechanics) -which allows them to really expand on those concepts and show us visually very different dynamics and relativity. I think they do have an ending in mind, but like with Lost, they're going to have to be more careful about how they get there, but I don't doubt a more clear cut happy ending.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Looks good, can't wait!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Taking a deep breath!
Now, that's a lot of spoilers!
    I LOVE IT!
*I was really hoping not to ever hear anyone calling Prince Charming David and Snow White MM. Why aren't they using their actual names? Well, anyway...
So it looks like Charming is gonna have to find his Snow (and Emma!) once again. They never seem to have a moment of peace.I love the part about Jefferson and Henry! Looking forward to see this!
The fact that people still can't leave Storybrooke (or at least that's what I think after reading this) worries me. Plus, where could Emma and Snow possibly disappear?

    ReplyDelete
  34. It sounds like it has something to do with Arthurian legends. There's a character there named Lady of the lake.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Agreed. I want to see more of Charming&Emma. Much more!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I hope Snow and Emma back to storybrooke soon. I hope they don't waste the entire season, making them stay away from Charming and Henry too. Also would like to see Emma relationship with Charming. In the first season I prayed for a rapprochement between father and daughter, and it never happened. And now it seems that will not happen again.
I hope Adam and Ed did not disappoint me cause 2 or 3 episodes with Emma and Snow out of Storybrooke is enough.

    ReplyDelete
  37. If Emma and Snow slow to return to storybrooke will be frustrating.
Give time to arrange a new disgusting soap opera / affair for David ...

    ReplyDelete
  38. While I think Fringe was vastly more successful than Lost at handling multiple timelines and universes and providing a baseline understanding as to what was going on, the Observer thing has been one giant problem of plot and sense, and for several seasons they struggled with how to effectively tell the alternate universe story and then they just dropped it. But I think Fringe's fits and starts have been much easier to deal with than Lost's.

In some ways I agree with your timeline, but in others I don't because characterization in Storybrooke is a regression from their FTL identities, so now you have some sort of complex duality that is both post-happily ever after and pre-getting your sh*t together, and that needs to be addressed and it can't if they spend all of their time introducing new plot threads and alternate universes. They've been sloppy in many aspects (especially the combo characters and now naming conventions) and I can't imagine them going all type-A now that life just got much much more complicated.

PS. I can overly criticize anything! :-)

  39. King George poisons Snow White?! Wha? They all sound Super-AWESOME!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Some think they are in wonderland...

    ReplyDelete
  41. Indeed you can Isbloom! :D ;)

    ReplyDelete
  42. Thanks! I'll start reading right now!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Thanks. I didn't know it.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Interesting title - lady of the lake, reminds me of the 'what happened to Frederick' episode

    ReplyDelete
  45. Sorry. I do try to be positive. I swear!

    ReplyDelete
  46. King George poisons Snow White? Like being poisoned with an apple ONCE isn't enough? Hah! Loving it so far, can't wait until Once comes back again. ^_^

    ReplyDelete
  47. LOl,i know you do,but i also know you don't hold back, sometimes people might not know how to take it.... I appreciate it,you! :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yes, I was thinking about it. Sounds like a very interesting idea;)

    ReplyDelete
  49. I hope they're using MM & David in the episode descriptions just to clarify for the audience but within the actual episodes the characters refer to each other by their FTL names. I basically want to forget David ever existed, lol. I just love Charming so much and David is such a poor, poor reflection of my favorite character.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Some seem to think (based on the guest cast list) that Snow and Emma are with Mulan and Aurora since they are in the first three episodes. And if so I wonder how those two (Mulan and Aurora) end up in possibly Wonderland with Snow and Emma?

    ReplyDelete
  51. I don't find the Observers a plot hole, because they point out the truth in the idea that we are always traveling in time and that things are always in motion and thus always in altered states, it's just that we are limited to the speed at which we travel and the amount of space we can occupy at one time and so we don't realize that nothing is constant for long. It makes a point thay every time period is it's own reality, despite the perception of a time "line".

IMO Bad Robot is empirical in their pursuits...it's the experience (circumstance) that has the capacity to change any given identity, or "definition" to what any one thing actually is in COMPARISON to any other (that's how we learn the differences and/or similarities to anything) I agree they start plot threads and seemingly drop them, but not REALLY...The point in even having any kind of alternate reality is to establish dynamics and "fate" between them...So many lost plots continue in other ways in other realities and thus we can see "what" repeats in these FAMILY of universes...what is in the DNA of them. Most of the Fringe events IMO are apart of the Observers own creation that repeat in these time lines, because most likely our characters (other versions of them) are responsible for their creation and so what they have created has reared it's head to come back and haunt them.

So to me they went above and beyond, because not only did they give parallel universes side by side, but iterations of parallel universes side by side, where 2 realities became 4 and the variables shifted roles just by re-arranging "when" one person did or did not exist. Additionally 2 futures have been given, -One that came before the season1-3 blue universe time line and one that comes from the blue season 4 time line.

I don't necessarily think we are done with the Red Universe(s) or even the season 1-3 time line, because I suspect that both pairs of both iterations may also be inextricable, because of the Observers...but we'll see.

  52. I remember what really made me suspicious was when she figured out that Jefferson believed himself to be the Mad Hatter, she says,
Okay. You’ve clearly glommed onto my kid Henry’s thing. They’re just stories. The Mad Hatter is in Alice in Wonderland – a book. A book I actually read.

It sounds like Emma didn't read much at all, but the fact that it's one of the few she did, almost makes it sound prophetic, which would be really ironic, as "Alice" is prophetic to Wonderland...

    ReplyDelete
  53. Everyone is entitled to say what think and give their opinions, and although I disagree with you from time to time (but not always!), I appreciate how we are able to discuss and debate our issues, because you do it with respect! (:

    ReplyDelete
  54. It took me a while to figure this out, but I think one disappears and go elsewhere when one leave Storybrook's city limits...I think the disappearance and the outside city limits plots are related.

    ReplyDelete
  55. WHY oh WHY would you want to see emma and snow back in storybrooke in the first place?

Them being displaced in another world and having to rely on each other is a brilliant storytelling, wit millions of possibilities, for both them and charming.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Oh, well, take a look at JM's latest interview to tv line... Apparently she might really be Alice...

    ReplyDelete
  57. Oh, now I' confused if they are indeed together. Unless the show starts working with 3 realities: storybrooke, FTL and Wonderland. Then Auroa and Mulan could be on FTL flashbacks.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Me too. Just take a look at JM's interview to tv line. It seems like we might have an Alice.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Why are we still calling them by their Storybrooke names?

And I wonder where Emma and Snow are.

    ReplyDelete
  60. to separate the goings in the flashbacks and present.

    ReplyDelete
  61. It should be interesting learning how they get transported out of this world. Just confused, if they are indeed now in Wonderland, how the heck did Jefferson manage to go to Storybrooke and not the Red Queen ( who I also agree is Regina's mom).
Is it me or is the fact that Jefferson KIDNAPPED both Emma and Mary forgiven because... wait why the heck is it forgiven? Because it's not his fault or something? I'm sorry he did those actions all on his own, and so I'm not really happy Henry is hanging out with him.
Oh yay more, I found you phrases coming up in future episodes. That never gets tiring. And is everyone going to call Charming Charming 24/7? Meh, that is also annoying.
Last little rant, I am SO glad they upgraded Belle and Red to series regulars, yet I find no mention at all of them. I just fear they will still be background characters, even though they are some of the best actors on the show with the most INTERESTING story lines outside of love stuff. But maybe that's just me.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I've to agree. I also find cute to see Charming taking care of grandson. But I want to see Emma/Charming too.
In season 1I wished often that Emma and David / Charming approached more. That did not happen. and now it seems that also will not happen again. The producers don't think the father-daughter relationship is equally important?

    ReplyDelete
  63. I agree! The only scenes we got with them in season 1 were when she was confronting him as sheriff when Kathryn disappeared. But now that the fairy tale characters have their memories back, I want to see father and daughter bond. He held/protected her in the middle of a swordfight before sending her to our world, for crying out loud! At least the "ABC Sundays" promo gives a tiny glimpse of Charming protecting his daughter.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hmm I was thinking the same thing, maybe it's being written that Charming has trouble bonding with his daughter who I'm guessing is older than him? but I was annoyed last season how David only really interacted with Emma when he wanted to see or speak to MM or when Kathryn went missing - I would've thought we'd see more of an underlying fatherly connection - especially when we saw so much bonding between MM and Emma even when MM mentioned Emmas blanket and smelt it - like she felt something there - why didn't we see anything like that from David?.
Even for next season all I've seen is pics of David with Henry or him around Emma and MM. Also does anyone know why Charming is being referred to as Sheriff in some of the epi descriptions? will he take over as Sheriff?!.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Maybe when Emma and MM are missing he will?
