After India’s (Wasikowska’s) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother Evelyn (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.

  1. Creepy. Way too creepy for me. I am just hoping the trailer alone doesn't give me nightmares.

  2. Couple of facts that may interest people, this was written by
Wentworth Miller (yes from Prison Break!) and has been considered one of the hottest scripts in Hollywood in the last few years. Anyway this looks pretty damn creepy.

  3. I was just about to post that when I saw it's trailer. Another interesting fact to add: Wentworth Miller has also written a prequel to this one titled "Uncle Charlie."

  6. yeah, that was kind of what I thought... in the trailer you can see that he's sort of really sure of himself and what he is doing... since Uncle Charlie is set to be a prequel, it would be interesting to see how he got to be like that...
