    really thought it would be the episode where Castle is suspected of murder and she is the alibi. Maybe its a bit of both, I can hope :)

    That was my first thought too, but since Andrew said that the tone of that episode is a bit darker I'm pretty sure that Castle won't have an alibi at all, otherwise Kate won't have a reason to think about what Castle is capable of or not. I think the potential for relationship developement is much bigger that way.
