When you’re on a TV show, for as long as you have been with How I Met Your Mother, does it become that tug-of-war between wanting to move on to other things, but also knowing that those opportunities wouldn’t be there without the success of the show?
RADNOR: Yeah, 100%. You don’t really want to turn your back on the thing that gave you the other opportunities, anyway. None of us have suffered from being on that show. All of us have gotten a great boost. Also, we’ve had time to do other things. I wrote, directed and starred in two films, in the last few years, and it’s because of the schedule we have on the show that I was allowed to and was able to do that.

I still love HIMYM, but I really think this season should be the last. I think CBS will not let it go though, which means they will probably make it until season 10. I will keep on watching, but I just feel that it is not necessary. Well, we'll see how it goes.
ReplyDeleteEven if it continues for 10 seasons, I feel like he should meet the mother at the end of this season or the next and the other season can either be about filling in bits and pieces of stories that Ted may have missed over the 8 years (One of the creators of the show mentioned this and I think it's really cool idea) or a continuation of what happened after he met the mother to the point they married (Even though the name of the show is How I 'Met' Your Mother, I'm sure the fans who have stuck around for seven years to find the answer would love to see the rest of the story; I know I would).
