  1. "It's my island." I love David O'Hara. I am always happy to see him.

I am not going to get frustrated that Annie is once again countermanding CIA operations in order to do her own thing, or that she slept/time jumped past all the nasty "oh hey I got shot" consequences, or that Joan is backing her rash play inexplicably, or that all of a sudden she can also play piano. I'm not. Because I love David O'Hara. But if he starts flirting with Annie and turns into her lap dog, all bets are off.

  3. Love, love, love Joan - and although it's obvious she wouldn't want Annie to go - like she said, Annie wouldn't stand down & the only thing she good do was back up her agent to make sure she was as safe as she could be. <3 And as for her response to her husband about it feeling horrible - made me heart he even more.

Not a fan of Arthur in the last episode, not because of him believing she was the leak – I can see given the proof why he would, fine –– but his lack of compassion, and going by this clip, it seems it's going to be more of the same.

  4. You're a bigger person than me...I'm very annoyed that they skipped past the "oh hey I got shot" consequences. The producers said they did this mid-season to show how dangerous Annie's job really is, to show the consequences of living a spy life. Well they kind of missed the point for me with a time jump. I'd liked to have seen her challenging road to recovery, see Auggie and Joan have to help her through, etc. etc

  6. But really, think about it. How boring would it be, her not at the CIA. If you want realism she wouldn't be back in a few days or few weeks. Basically they would have to show the CIA without Annie or Annie without the CIA. Neither option is appealing.

  7. They could show the CIA without Annie in the field and I would be just fine. I quite enjoyed Sights Unseen.

  8. I'm trying awfully hard. This season hasn't been my cup of tea. Without Joan and Auggie I probably would have stopped watching. They should never have tried to "up the stakes" it has been painful. I totally agree about the producers missing the point.

  9. I'm actually really optimistic about this episode - the last two have been such an improvement over the season as a whole! I feel like they've been building up to this huge professional disaster on Annie's part (what with her recklessness and overconfidence this season and taking away her Joan-and-Auggie safety net and rattling her cage by killing off Jai and Simon) and now it seems to be playing out as advertised. If the writers can just have her work through that and learn from the fallout by the season's end, my faith will be restored.
