    If that was the plan all along they shouldn't have had so much relationship angst last season. Or the season before that. Etc.


    It feels like the shows creators only know one spiel, trouble between Booth and Brennan. It's poor writing and not creative.

    Looks awesome ahah. I am excited because it looks like they are being able to incorporate the Booth/Bones chemistry that kept us coming back for the show for 6 years into their relatonship even now that they are together, even in a more stronger form of banter. That's good writing peeps!

    I have no problem whatsoever with them fighting now as she went on the run for three months.


    But it is tired because they did this for 7 seasons already! Always pulling the same strings, it gets tiresome and it could have been a lot better.


    Have you ever read the interview with the creators how they were forced to put them together as a couple because of Emily's pregnancy? They were planning to keep them apart for a lot longer.


    Since that already was getting tired by the end of season 4, it shows to me that the creators don't know how to show Booth and Brennan to be together as a couple. They kept putting it off until their hand was forced and now that they are together, they constantly keep them fighting and making up.


    My relationship isn't perfect, of course we fight and make up. But not to the ridiculous high level that Booth and Brennan do, which seems to be every other episode. At some point characters have to grow and, to me, it feels the characters really haven't been doing that for some time.


    Also, one episode Brennan shows growth and the next episode it is thrown out of the window because it needs to serve the plot for Brennan being cold and distant again. The show isn't consistent. :)

    Actually I've read/watched/heard many interviews and you're wrong. They didn't plan to keep them apart at the end of season 6. In fact, Hart said that if Emily hadn't gotten pregnant, they still would have slept together and season 7 would have been about them figuring out the new relationship and how to move forward because they know that "the show shouldn't be consistent". The news about Emily's pregnancy just gave them an even better cliffhanger. And frankky, I wouldn't have it any other way but it's not the point.

    Booth and Brennan actually have real issues standing between them (I won't develop that because there's way too many things to say...) Just because you and I don't agree with Brennan's choices, it doesn't mean she's wrong. You have to be two to be a couple, even Booth has his flaws. In the season 7 premiere, he admitted that he pressured Brennan to live with him because of his own childhood memories. In the fifth, he admitted that he was being overprotective. And I think that's all the times they argued since they got together.
    So, yes they disagree because they have different personalities, different values, different views on life matters. You seem to forget that there's a baby in the picture, a baby that they're both responsible for. If they didn't disagree, how are they ever gonna raise that child together? But they don't fight. Next week, now that's a real fight.
