Aw, I wanted Artie and Vanessa to stay together. But, at least she's smart enough to know he'll come back to her.
Claudia took the news about her being connected to Steve pretty well. I'm glad she finally knows the truth.
It was nice to see Leena again.
Pete's lines were, as always, hilarious.
I have to wonder if Artie's visions of Claudia stabbing him will end, now. I was kind of conflicted about whether that was the actual vision or not. Besides her holding a shard of mirror glass, not a blade, it seemed pretty accurate.
I think the evil Artie unleashed is himself. The ending was kind of like: crazy, lunatic, violent Artie, and he WAS the one that made Brother Adrian go after him by stealing all the artifacts. I don't think we have anything to worry about when it comes to Claudia.
a great episode, in the top 5, a major piece of the puzzle, is major development of story and characters and themes, there are some profoundly *subtle* details and implications going on (which I will not discuss here nor hint at in any way), it gives gives more than many reasonable possibilities for why Claudia would stab Artie, gives many reasonable possibilities for whom is removing the artefacts and many reasons for why, it opens a branch of many possible options and does not limit writers to choose only one branch or even choose any branch at all, what is chosen will probably be something unexpected out of left field, but it does not matter how it is developed so long as the ride is as good as it was in this episode, it was very well paced, there were beats, so to speak, it was suspenseful, it was thrilling, like Hitchcock, there was a since of adventure and fun, it was exciting on multiple levels, and satisfying all throughout and especially at the end. this show is getting as good as fringe. I hope the team of people involved in the show can keep it up! after a very stressful week it is good to relax and forget my problems for an hour so my brain can rest.
I think Claudia took the news so well because she expected there would be backlash for saving Jinx, and she's willing to take it. She knew ahead of time there could be major consequences for her when she brought him back.
"I think the evil Artie unleashed is himself" me too... and watching him slowly but surely become unhinged with fear & anger about the situation... shudders.. he's coming unglued.
What a great ep! Yes, there were several tidbits for the season story line....
I too believe Artie is working himself into such a state that he could/will become His own worst Evil. He's had to keep so much information to himself, worrying about the agents (or as I like to think of them as Artie's Kiddies), and the stress of Monk Data exacting revenge by Undoing His Life's Work..... it's driving him batty. (& Leena was there to see it all first hand....)
Alice being back n on the loose was great, she's def one of my fav artifacts....creepy as hell, but great adventure fun. She really had it in for Artie....
Pete - as always- is such fun to watch! Too funny, too cooky, and lovable!!!
Myka is looking more like her old self. Was sad to see her relive being trapped in Alice's mirror.
Jinx n Claudia are all good again.. They are like 2 halves of the same person- literally and figuratively.
Love this show... it's just good old fashioned crazy fun ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I do have a couple of questions (thoughts): CLASS ANYONE..................... *Claudia is/will be a Regent- she will live as long as the Warehouse. Jinx will live as long as Claudia & as long as the Metronome.... so to me it's kinda good news. As they will have each other for - well forever theoretically.
*Will Artie HAVE to eventually use the Astro Labe n reverse everything?
What a great episode!! One thing this show has is superb writing and it really showed this week. They always give out little hints of things to come and earlier in the episode when we heard Claudia calling for Lena to come to the Warehouse was a prelude to seeing Lena there at the end of the episode. I can't wait to see more of how Lena fits in to the mystery. Also, a great job to tptb in advancing all these characters roles as each season moves forward in the series!
I've been waiting for them to final mention Rapid City and at last we get a whole episode of it!! Next, I want an episode surrounding Mount Rushmore too! I'm so glad the writers are having fun with real cities and places in South Dakota!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I have no idea what the hell is going on anymore, but I love it! Glad Claudia finally figured out the truth.
ReplyDeleteAnd that episode was terrifying! I hope Alice doesn't appear again because she's creepy.
I wish Artie hadn't broken up with Vanessa. And I am so confused at that ending.
Can't wait for the next episode!
What Klutzy said. ;)
ReplyDeleteYeah, Alice was super creepy. Reminded me of another show I watch, Supernatural.
Also random note: I love Trailer the dog! :D I've never said that here and now I have.
