  1. One of the next few episodes should be named "Point of No Return". But then Walter passed that a while ago. Can't see how he makes it out of this downward spiral.

It is going to SUCK to have to wait until next year.

  3. So I've been kind of on the fence on whether or not I wanted to see Walt make it out of the show alive... but now... I can't wait to see him fall down the slope further.

RIP Mike. You were one of the good ones.

    Wow

That was incredible. I knew someone was going to die either in this episode or the finale next week. I am forever worrying about Skyler and Jesse I kind of forgot about Mike but once the DEA finally got the info they needed I knew there was no way out for Mike.

What I loved is for the first time in a long long time Walt realised he had made a mistake. To see that kind of realisation was more shocking than Mike's death. Walt is an arrogant SOB, the way he talked down to Jesse in that scene made me see red, the way he thinks he is so in control of everyone and everything is infuriating, the way shreds crocodile tears in front of Hank. All of that makes him a nasty piece of work - but now he has fucked up big time. This will be the start of his fall.

  5. From the first appearance of Mike in this episode, I suspected this may be a final farewell. Jonathan aces every scene he's in but it seems like he just couldn't hide that mournful face away.

  6. I was a little disappointed. This is the first episode that I started arguing with the show. First off they would have needed a major court order to install surveillance in safety deposit room, and no judge would give it to them without evidence of wrong doing which they didn't have, they were on a fishing expedition against a lawyer. The interrogation room scene would have been like, "tell us what you were doing putting cash in your client's safety deposit boxes." "Privileged." They can't trace cash. You can't make the lawyer talk. And there is nothing illegal about putting cash in a safety deposit box. And Mike's "guys" were never people he couldn't trust to keep their mouths closed. So all of a sudden he's made like five mistakes? Then he makes another one and let's Walt bring him the go bag? Mike isn't that dumb, but they had to make him dumb so Walt could kill him. That annoyed me. Mike knew Walt was lethal when pissed and knew that he was liable to do something against him. I overlooked the I'm going to chain you up with a zip tie and only bind the one hand thing, it was dumb it was OOC, but whatever. I knew it was coming and still it annoyed me. I really wanted Walt to have to actually work to kill Mike. This rankled. And someone finally telling Walt off was nice, and Jesse actually leaving was nice. But Mike should have been much, much harder to kill. And don't tell me it was arrogance, because you don't live that long in a dangerous life without being good at threat assessment. He knew to tell the other drug dealers that Walt was a loose cannon and be wary, and he knew Walt killed Fring. So Mike shouldn't have been like everybody else that doesn't see Walt coming and underestimates him.

  10. Of course Walt's gonna die. That's been a foregone conclusion since the beginning.

  11. I pretty much agree, except it's possible Mike didn't care if he died at that point. His options were either jail or never see his granddaughter again. It also didn't make sense to have Walt decide to shoot Mike because at the point he pulled the trigger he thought Mike was the only person who could tell him the names. Killing Mike didn't make sense unless it was just pure irrational rage, but that's not very Walt-like either.

  12. So long the only character I enjoyed watching and didn't find irritating. Although, to be fair, Mike was pretty evil too.
