No wonder John was sick for two weeks that does look stressful. (and yes I know it was b/c travel and a sleep disorder, but I am sure that the abuse of his character didn't help it any.) So excited for season 5 I can't even Explain!!
"I could stay like this forever" or something like that, who didn't know that it was going to go bad right there and then. Poor polivia/etta and co.
AH So it is Widmark who said that to Walter! Peter and Walter open A HATCH (; Olivia in Amber! Walter? In a lab with brains? (maybe relating to Thought Transilencer Mo. 11??)
I thought it was,the way he carries himself in his bathrobe / coats, exactly the same..Poor Walter, never thought i would see him with a bloody face, got me boiling mad,lol... Can't wait for Widmark to get his!!
I just had a little epiphany that I will just call a theory for now, but I think we have seen some other version or model of the Transilence Thought Unifier before...
In 1x04 The Arrival! It had been speculated that perhaps John Mosley had been time/reality traveling because of his knowledge and pursuit of the beacon, which seemingly is 'futuristic', or rather "advanced" technology....but like Peter, I never understood HOW Mosley's devise could get the information he needed from Peter to find where Walter hid the beacon...When Peter confronts Walter about it, Walter brushes it of something to do with "Osmosis", Now seeing Walter being interrogated by Widmark in a similar state Peter (and "Henry" Jacobson) was with Mosley (nose bleeds), I believe Mosley had an earlier model of TTU!!!!
Here's the transcript from "The Arrival" with Peter questioning Walter about Mosley's methods...
PETER: So let me tell you about my day, Walter. I was abducted, tortured, had two wires shoved up my nose that were connected to a machine I've never seen before. But maybe the strangest part of the day is that somehow, without talking, I was able to answer a question that I didn't have the answer to.WALTER: Where I buried the capsule?PETER: How did I know that, Walter? I didn't know that. I didn't know where the cylinder was buried.WALTER: You know it, son, because I know it.PETER: No, I didn't know because you didn't tell me.WALTER: I didn't have to. You must adjust the way you consider communications, ideas. Ideas can be absorbed through osmosis. Through proximity... I think Walter is trying to say that the device can absorb memories (memories contain history-information) through space time (and this is why the nose bleeds in these cases are remincent to Lost's time traveling sickness - Charlotte Staples Lewis)
Oh my poor poor John Noble. Love him so much. I can still remember the Happy Birthday kiss and it wasn't just a peck. Tee hee I am going to miss this show terribly!!!!
And since we haven't seen the last of Bell we aren't really sure whats going to be the final outcome.....funny i watched that episode not that long ago so i can remember exactly how Peter sounded saying those words....
I don't know what the hatch will look like, but when they were filming it,some of the fans from the Fringe Event had taken pics of them and it was just a board that Peter was lifting up.Its amazing what they can do! Can't wait to see it.....
I have to compare screencaps, but now I am also thinking this sanrio we have here with Widmark also may relate to "The Equation". When Walter goes back into St. Clare's to obtain information from Dashei Kim about 'the equation' (which basically is our "pattern" and/or Fringe events in the universes) He sees himself out side the facility. I kept thinking that the amber timeline may have existed BEFORE our season 1-3 timelines, but now I think it could be more complicated than that...I think the two blue parts of these timeline are inextricable, because SO much time traveling and variable exchanges are happening between them, that we may never know when something is/was altered, but If I would be right and the Walter, Walter sees is the Walter from 5x01 (or a nearly identical repeating version), then we can argue that this timelines have been ajoined-bleeding through the whole time and are in constant altering states....
Ya I just had time to check and they don't match! --It was worth a shot! -But I think I am at least right about the John Mosley having another version of TTU!
OH MY GOSH! Talk abour revealing promos! I really need fringe right now! As a side note, I have loved the promo, but i wont watch any further promos, too many reveals for me :P
The player isn't working for me, but I did see this promo elsewhere. I wonder if Etta is actually kidnapped by the observers or if Peter grabs her and takes her to safety (Nina maybe?). Guess we'll find out the end of this month.
Peter is a Desmond-like Character....His love for "a blonde" makes him rise to the occasion, gives him deep sense purpose, and has VERY similar time/reality traveling abilities. Additionally in season 4 we deal a bit with time displacement, the effect before the cause (Cassimar effect). In one episode a young girl can see people die right before they do and she draws them. The first victim we see is a man who walks under a construction site = Desmond time traveling to meet some past version of Mrs. Hawking, who also has the ability of "memory transference" (which Desmond later also has with Charlie Pace) and she and Desmond witness a young man in red converse die at a construction site - this also links the shows in Wizard of Oz references. Memory transference occurs in Fringe a lot with also Conscience sharing, Deja Vu, reading minds, and literally giving someone else, someone else's Memories.
The Novel a Brave New World by A. Huxley features themes and lines from Shakespear's The Tempest. In Lost C.S. Lewis starts of cold character, but in "The Other Women" Charlotte and Faraday travel to the Dharma Tempest station to STOP Ben's second purge. (The Observers also have attempted to commit 2 purges). He character turns out to be "good". In Fringe's "A Brave New World" (which Huxley was mentioned by name in "Bad Dreams") Jessica Holt starts out a very warm-victim character, who actually seemingly turns out to be a terrorist of sorts.
Additionally I have always said that watching Fringe is like watching Lost from the perspective of the Dharma Initiative as they investigate 'fringe events' (minus the Island of course)...It's funny then that Benjamin Linus would of had a Dharma teacher named Olivia with straight blonde hair, which is parted in the middle, is it not?
How exciting! Lots of stuff happening. I wonder how many episodes' worth of screenshots went into this promo? 'Cause I'm thinking we might need more than just 13 ep's to wrap up...(hint to the tv PTB!). ;)
Is Olive in amber? i thought she got shot to death because of what walter said in 4x19 "You remember what bell did to Olivia" and Etta has a fired bullet round her neck. Anna torv (olivia) is a regular in season 5 and they said that much of the season will be played in the year 2036. then she can't be dead right?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
WALTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow what an epic teaser
ReplyDeleteand so the end begins..... omg this is a great promo... ole cueball is gonna get his for hurting Walter... :(

You are right! It is Walter wondering in the Bathrobe for sure! Poor guy! Widmark's a beast!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! At the very least there should be an incident! --Fringe also tends to use the classic crazy nose bleeds! (Poor Walter)

ReplyDeleteIf i'm not mistaken Seriable has the screencaps.I know i saw it somewhere this morning...
No wonder Walter was so angry and determined in "Letters of Transit."
ReplyDeleteYa I just had time to check and they don't match! --It was worth a shot! -But I think I am at least right about the John Mosley having another version of TTU!
ReplyDeleteAww...happy family Bishop until Observergeddon of course. And damn you evil Observer...do not mess with Walter!!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH! Talk abour revealing promos! I really need fringe right now! As a side note, I have loved the promo, but i wont watch any further promos, too many reveals for me :P
ReplyDeleteHa!!!!!! I wonder if they digitally actually used the hatch footage from Lost and added it in?!
ReplyDeleteLol,i don't know but we'll find out! Oh,i left you a message on fb.
ReplyDeleteThe player isn't working for me, but I did see this promo elsewhere. I wonder if Etta is actually kidnapped by the observers or if Peter grabs her and takes her to safety (Nina maybe?). Guess we'll find out the end of this month.
ReplyDeleteLooks just like it.
ReplyDeleteSo you think they purposely used H. Ian Cusick and Rebecca Mader as a reference to Lost. Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteWell thank you ^_^ ♥

Thanks for the screencap of that! That is the exact part I paused the promo at too. Looks like Olivia, doesn't it?
