  1. It'll be sad to say goodbye to the ponds, but I'm really looking forward to meeting Clara :DD

  2. I am really not looking forward to that. I don't like that the new companion is a young girl again. Why not shake it up a bit?

  3. The Doctor always has a young girl as a companion, that's kinda how the show works. How she joins the Doctor, and where he firsts meets her, is definitely a shake up on the usual formula thou ;)

  4. Not always. Donna wasn't a young girl and she was my favorite companion. Plus I think the show would work with a male companion too, without any problem. And if the female element was needed in that case, they could later introduce a girl/woman the same (or similar) way we got Rory and Micky or any other way they would see fit.

  5. Donna's a young girl compared to me :( lol. The main reason I think the show has had mainly female companions as a counterpart to the Doctor over the 49 years is to balance out the main stars, that was it caters to more people :)
