  1. I don't think the divorce has been played up enough in Pond Life for it to lead to the clip we see here, if anything it's been more about the Doctor than them being fed up of each other :(

  2. Yeah, that has been confusing. Rory can wait two thousand years for Amy, Amy can create time paradoxes for Rory, and in the mini-sodes we've been getting they seem just fine, but suddenly they can't stand each other? What in the world happens to them that will actually make sense?

  3. I thought Pond Life would be showing how they get to that point, with the Doctor always interrupting them at awkward moments which drives them apart. But Parts 3 and 4 have been over taking with Ood and still no sign of them hating each other over it :(

  4. I know. You'd think there'd be something, anything really to show they were heading for divorce ... unless there's some real conflict over Ood rights in their future, I don't get it. And it seems to be a one and done sort of problem, as they're clearly back together no later than the end of the third episode and probably before that, but even if it is solved by the end of the Dalek episode, there still had to be something big to drive them apart, serious or silly as it might be, and there's just nothing to go on.

  5. I think it's meant to be the no more children thing that finally drives a wedge between them, but they aren't even hinting at that atm :(

  6. I think the reply you made to my Ood comment on the Pond Life page may have meant in reply to this; if it was, then I meant the Ood rights thing as a joke. And really? If so, is it because one of them does want more kids? And which one?

  7. Rory has always wanted a big family, that's been hinted at in past episodes like Amy's Choice. I think that Amy may start pushing Rory away so that he can have his dream, but they end up being sent back in time to when Melody regenerated in the alley as a small child and get to bring her up before depositing her in Leadworth to become Mels, their best mate.
