Absolutely nothing new in this one. I guess they could retcon Crowley into something bigger but what would be the point. He's already awesome as King of Hell. I do like how everything with these 3 actors always seems fun.
I thought it was quite amusing, myself. It never ceases to amaze me how well the cast of Supernatural get along. @ ScottA, I'll bet you would have a different opinion, if you were sitting on that couch with them! Now, my question to you is, what color pillow do you prefer? ;)
I'm annoyed as hell at the prospect of resurrecting Bobby (again) but, in the confines of this interview, all is forgiven because Jim Beaver was quite funny talking about it.
LOL, in the description above the word bromance is cut and says "broma..." wich means joke in Spanish, for a second I thought this video would have something like that hidden somewhere, but Misha is always funny so I enjoyed it anyway.
If you think about it, Bobby passed up on the Reaper to move on. So in theory, according to the lore of the show, Bobby went to Purgatory. So perhaps he gets out when Dean/Castiel find their way out.
I really think that Crowley's eyes never flashing is exactly what Jim Beaver said, a budget/special effects thing. I hope Mark keeps trolling the fandom though because it's kinda fun to see everyone get worked up over it.
I'm of two minds on this. I'm kind of annoyed too because it makes everything last year with his character, especially killing him off, which I always thought was a mistake even more pointless. Then again, I love Bobby. If they are going to bring him back, they should only do it if they just full on resurrect him from the dead. No Bobby the monster, Bobby the ghost, etc.
I do love these three guys, especially when they're together. They always seem to have a good time. I also agree with the few down below that are hoping Bobby isn't resurrected yet again. That's not to say I wouldn't like Jim to tag along to Cons and other such events, since he was such a huge part of the show for years and years, but I think bringing him back again after his final sendoff would be doing the character a disservice.
I suppose I can get behind that but my only addition would be that if the Winchesters ever make a return trip to heaven, and since there's an angels/demons season coming up it's a possibility, that Bobby would be there with the rest of the fallen.
I would love it if Crowley turned out to be something other than a demon, maybe somemore more powerful. If Gabriel could pull off being a trickster, why can't Crowley pull of something similar? I hope he is in a significant number on episodes in season eight, I love that character.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteThat was a real yawner. Did like Mark speaking on Crowley's eyes never "flashing".
ReplyDeleteJim said that we don't know what happens with a ghost when it dies. So they may go that way.
ReplyDeleteWhat if the source of power is creation itself or the place where all this souls are? I don't know.

ReplyDeletelol Nothing really new, but those 3 are funny. XD

ReplyDeleteI hope Bobby stays dead too but I'll enjoy Jim Beaver hamming it up with the other guys any day.
ReplyDeleteAgreed on all counts, plus it was nice for someone to interview all the supporting characters in lieu of the standard Jared/Jensen interview.

ReplyDeleteAppreciate the reassurance about Deab and Cas. Glad he asked that one. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's not a question of if they can justify it but rather if they should. In my opinion, they should not.

ReplyDeleteNot much to learn, but always enjoy listening to these guys, even when they are saying nothing. lol
ReplyDeleteI thought we already had a spoiler saying Cas wouldn't get out of Purgatory with Dean?
ReplyDeleteMark S. DOES tease Crowley not being a demon, he did it in the convention we had here in Rio.
