I hope that this doesn't create a trend for S8 because I was really hopeful with the one word title. And jeez to change it from the interesting and ambiguous-meaning 'Heartache' to 'What's Up Tiger Mommy' just seems weird and silly.
Well Heartache implied we might see Sam's suffering while Dean was gone. This implies we are going to see I Know What You Did Last Summer an ode to just how wonderful Amelia is, with maybe a little Sam on the side.
What kind of title is that? I know I was one of those that was complaining about Heartache and was hoping it would get changed but not to this!!!! This new title is even worse!
She's a vet isn't she, so I suppose it's to be taken literally! Maybe she's treating a tiger the first time Sam sees her. Heartache at least had some significance. It could have been interpretated in many ways but it did imply that someone's heart was aching. I've a funny feeling that in the end it's going to be mine! I'm really coming to hate the stupid titles that they pick!
Three bets Tiger is the dog's name and Amelia is his owner...hence Tiger Mommy. From what Jared says, in today time, he's no longer with her. She is only in flashbacks.
Where is the link to this spoiler? The supposed source just links to another page on this site. Since when did SpoilerTV release news themselves? I'm starting to think this is just a hoax now.
I'm skeptical that we'll go back to one word title too. At least we can hope to avoid them really long season 4 and 5 titles. When your title takes up a line of typing on its own, it's too long.
Don't worry they are scheduled for another 2 title changes before the ending one. Sometimes I think they throw out bizarre titles just to get us talking.
Bwah! This comment made me laugh because it is so, so true and to the point. I take heart with this title because it is too early in the summer for that to be the actual ending title and surely they cannot come up with anything worse. It all gets better from here.
Let's hope it means nothing. If Tiger is the name of the dog, I'm going to get bad Brady Bunch flash backs. Just think of the title change this way. Heartache was never going to last although I liked it too, but this one is so bad that anything they change it to next will automatically be a relief. Hey maybe they released this title in a futile attempt to keep people from complaining about the real title. Never going to happen but I'd applaud their efforts.
Usually the temporary title tells us some detail about the content of the episode just as "Get Dick" effectively told us that the episode was all about getting rid of Dick Roman.
In this case we already know there's going to be some heart-breaking because of the first title version, but "what's up tiger Mommy" is hard to decipher, other than the fact of Amelia being a vet and having to do with animals!
Hey guys. I tweeted Jim Michaels about it and he said: 'The names have never changed in the first few scripts... A bunch of bad info floating out there.." His twitter is @TheJimMichaels if you want to check out his response to me yourself. Hopefully what he told me is accurate because I agree. It's a stupid title. I far prefer "Heartache".
Being a movie buff, I know this title is a play on "What's up Tiger Lilly". It's an old Woody Allen film where he take a Japanese James Bond copy and redubs it in English as one big Joke. Don't know if that points to the plot somehow or they are just joking right now.
I thought the dog was a stray that Sam hits with his car, he takes the dog to the vet and meets Amelia who is the doctor who treats said dog? Dont think the dog is hers but I'll wager Sam leaves it with her when they go their separate ways.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
How bizarre.
ReplyDeleteOur chance for an one-word title dies a painful(and not really unexpected) death.
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with the titles this season?
ReplyDeletesounds like and adult kinki supernatural attractive woman try to conquer sam loves attention.
ReplyDeleteWhat?
ReplyDeleteWHY???The new title is silly. The first one was cool :(
ReplyDeleteI hope that this doesn't create a trend for S8 because I was really hopeful with the one word title. And jeez to change it from the interesting and ambiguous-meaning 'Heartache' to 'What's Up Tiger Mommy' just seems weird and silly.

ReplyDeleteUm... what? So strange...
ReplyDeleteThat is a joke. lol Can't be serious. I refuse to believe that is the new title until the episode airs.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it's a takeoff on the title of the movie What's Up Tiger Lily?
ReplyDeleteAre you ****ing kidding me?
ReplyDeleteThat is the worst **** up I've ever seen in the in the history of SPN titles.
She's a vet isn't she, so I suppose it's to be taken literally! Maybe she's treating a tiger the first time Sam sees her.

The episode better be DAMN good.
ReplyDeleteSPN creating team must be smoking them good herbs.lol
That... is a terrible title.
ReplyDeleteI like this changed title.....http://supernatural.otavo.tv/
ReplyDeleteAaaargh!!! X-(
ReplyDeleteThree bets Tiger is the dog's name and Amelia is his owner...hence Tiger Mommy. From what Jared says, in today time, he's no longer with her. She is only in flashbacks.

ReplyDeleteWell plenty of time to change it back. That's a terrible name. Good then we've got on average 2 more title changes before they're done.
ReplyDeleteI'm skeptical that we'll go back to one word title too. At least we can hope to avoid them really long season 4 and 5 titles. When your title takes up a line of typing on its own, it's too long.

ReplyDeleteIt was never stay. The episode doesn't air until October. I'g give it 2 more title changes before being worried it will stick.
ReplyDeleteBwah! This comment made me laugh because it is so, so true and to the point. I take heart with this title because it is too early in the summer for that to be the actual ending title and surely they cannot come up with anything worse. It all gets better from here.
ReplyDeleteThis site has sometimes posted spoilers of their own for a long time now.
ReplyDeleteAnd the title will most likely be changed.
But I liked Heartache... And now We have "what's up tiger mommy?" What does that even reference?
ReplyDelete?? stupid. Just keep it simple. I loved Heartache.
ReplyDeleteIt has to be, but it's still a horrible title. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a very odd name for a episode
ReplyDeleteLet's hope it means nothing. If Tiger is the name of the dog, I'm going to get bad Brady Bunch flash backs. Just think of the title change this way. Weird.... though I suppose they have a good reason. Kinda makes me more eager to see it now.
ReplyDeleteDamn them!!!! lol
LOL
ReplyDeleteI rather have a bad title than a bad episode. Just saying.
It seems that they will keep up last season silly episode naming. At one point it stops being tongue in cheek and it just becomes trashy.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Heartache, it sounded so poignant.
Hey guys. I tweeted Jim Michaels about it and he said: 'The names have never changed in the first few scripts... A bunch of bad info floating out there.." ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that. I thought is was a fake spoiler all along.
ReplyDeleteIt seems this information is not accurate. Jim Michaels tweeted and said there is no change in the titles so far :-)
ReplyDeleteBeing a movie buff, I know this title is a play on "What's up Tiger Lilly". It's an old Woody Allen film where he take a Japanese James Bond copy and redubs it in English as one big Joke.
ReplyDeleteDon't know if that points to the plot somehow or they are just joking right now.
Yeah I know but it's still a terrible title.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he should have a word with his casting department then.
ReplyDeleteWell it's the title that's on the script.
ReplyDeleteI thought the dog was a stray that Sam hits with his car, he takes the dog to the vet and meets Amelia who is the doctor who treats said dog? Dont think the dog is hers but I'll wager Sam leaves it with her when they go their separate ways.
ReplyDeleteLOL. Please change, though.
ReplyDeleteI kinda liked it :) I like goofy titles like this... :)
ReplyDeleteI liked first one better. But at least it's funny.
ReplyDeleteIt's more than likely a reference to Woody Allen's What's Up Tiger Lily? film. I think it was released in the late 60s.
ReplyDeleteWTF? OK season 8
ReplyDeleteGoofy titles are cool. This is just bad.
