  1. ... if True Blood has the guts to kill a main character, and that character is Sam.... wrong choice -_-

  2. It was for a reason, Luna also got shot.

  3. Glad they finally found russell, still convinced that Salome is a traitor as well as Nora. I think Roman already senses that as well. Didn't see Sam and Luna getting killed. Anyone notice that Bill and Sookie were holding hands right before they found Russell

  10. pretty good and unexpected twists in this ep. I'm liking most of the storylines so far except for the Terry one, even though it explains why he's been addled from the beginning, it really just seems unnecessary compared to all the rest and it probably wouldn't be a bad thing if these characters were trimmed off or just really reduced. I'll just wait and see on that end. as much as I've been wanting to kill off Tara for a long time, I kinda like where they seem to be taking her character and I liked the idea of she and Jessica being BVFF's (man thy both looked hot vamped out!) at least until Hoyt popped up in the mix. Even as obvious as it seems that Salome might be the female conspirator, I like to entertain the idea that it might be the "Lilith" they keep referring to....

  13. I have to say...the scene with Lafayette's mother was the stand out for me tonight. You know....just another night in the mental hospital. lol.

I'm not a fan of the 'we've finally caught the heinous villain so lets have a chat' scenes. You find Russell...just stake him. All the talking is cliche...and a clear give away that he's (a) not as week as he appears and (b) not gonna be staked in the next 2 minutes. Sigh.

I liked Sookie's tirade. And her finally getting back to her backbone. Also, she taught me that drinks that combine Peach Schnapps with a bunch of other booze do not a sexy evening make. (I was kind of surprised that she and Alcide interrupted their hot necking to leave Jason and go to her house. But it was considerate to Jason. :-)

I actually like the ifrit thing...and the CG was interesting.

The dudes riding around in a truck killing shifters....I'll wait an see.

  14. I doubt Sam's dead. I predict he's off on a vengeance track and would be surprised if he doesn't wind up as guardian to Luna's daughter by the end of the season.

  15. In the book Tara does die, but fans like Tara so much they brought her back as a vampire.

  16. I'd thought I'd read ALL of the Southern Vampire Mystery books and I haven't read where that happened, which book is it in? The last thing I vaguely remember about Tara is her eloping with JB and having twins on the way.

  17. I heard that was in the book, from someone who read it

  18. You're thinking of Hoyt, that Tara and Jessica were fighting over

  19. Yeah, OK, then they were just yanking your chain.

  20. I thought Sookie was holding hands with the guy who was glamored to forget. then he broke away and Sookie yelled after him

  21. I liked Sookie more than I have in the last season or two tonight. She grew her backbone back! Tonight also solidified my belief that Salome is the one who let Russell out. And poor Lafayette can't seem to shake the crazy! I wonder where they're taking his character with this brujo stuff?

  22. not in the books I read. Tara is there all the way through

i dont like shape-shifter killings thats cruel and senseless.jason psychedelic dream and the ending naked cool the domino pieces began to role and the story line is shaping form

  24. No, the guy I felt bad for was the guy that Sookie and Alcide dragged into Russell's lair. I can't remember his name.

Given that Tara and Jessica were fighting over Hoyt...I don't think they're gonna be besties. :-)

I think his name was Doug. Yeah, poor guy, lol. At least he's somewhat safe with the people hanging from the ceiling. For now.

  26. Lafayette is the one who dies in the books but remains alive in the tv show.

  27. Woah! --This episode was SUPER intense, because of the way it went from creepy scene to creepy scene, but I really enjoyed it non the less.

I think the writers might be suggesting that some of these things are "demon" related, and that essentially there are different kinds of 'demons' and we can add the Freets(Sp?) to the Bruja and what ever is going on with both Lafeyette's mother and Jesus and by extension, the unique darkness-seriousness of Tara'a vampire transformation.

YAY for getting to Russell sooner rather than later, but even if Bill and Eric bring him in, I don't trust Salome and I think the Authority (Roman) is about to get taken over...or taken out!

And I wasn't expecting Sam and Luna to get shot and have Emma running alone in the woods! That was crazy and wonder if either of them are going to survive it?...(Can shifters become Vamps? Or is there some witch around!?)

Sookie was amazingly funny drunk and very determined. Again I really like seeing another side of her, a side that doesn't seem to be afraid anymore...

Jason- he too keeps changing, but I thought it was interesting that he is now seeing fang marks everywhere after visiting the fairy party and discovering some unknown truth of his parents deaths, much like he saw bullet holes in everyone after he shot Eggs...It almost seems like he has a dash of fairy in him, because of the way he profoundly projects death and how he always wants to do something about it (hence becoming a 'police' officer)

I don't think I am ever going to get the scene of a stitched-up-mouth-Jesus-head out of my mind anytime soon. I have to wonder if Lafayette just dreamed all of that, or if Jesus head is actually with his mother...and why someone doesn't want him to speak?! -But it was interesting writing to go from one used mental institution (living) and non used mental institution (dead) in contrast to each other in one episode.

I thought the Jessica and Tara scenes are interesting too, especially since Jess has been getting closer to Jason and now Tara fed on Hoyt, but clearly Tara's aspirations are much more destructive than usual and I wonder if there will be an association with the Sangu. physically being different kinds of vampires, than those that are pro coexistence??

Anyways, so much going on I think I need to rewatch it! I had the most incredible headache after the first go around!
