  1. I wasn't going to watch, but I did, and I loved it! Definitely going to keep watching. It's a pretty interesting.

Love that the guy from Cold Case was in this and I appreciated the surprise!Kelly Rowan. I've missed her. (And I think she's a hallucination in this show.)

LOL at the girl in his office at the end.

It wasn't much different than any Sherlock Holmes style crime drama. It was ok... overall it felt like a more dramatic version of Monk.

  5. Okay, so I'm majorly into 'Lie to Me', Sherlock Holmes, Monk, Mentalist type fun, so this ticked all those boxes for me. Beyond that I liked the acceptance factor of his situation (a la Denny Crane's mad cow) by both himself and those around him; I like the casting (though a little over the top with the facial hair; I liked the camera work and music, and general setting. I liked lots of bits about it, which had me click the great box - but not quite awesome. Which is awesome for a pilot.
Long term viability: iffy. But I can hope :D

  6. well, it was decent.. I actually liked parts of this episode that is not related to the case & I hope writers keep involving characters more like this one is.. And I liked how the relationship between Daniel and Kate is already established, makes their story more intriguing ..

aside from those two points, I wasn't really excited about the hallucination scenes or the case.. but I'm in for a couple of episode before making up my mind..

  7. Great Pilot! I love the cast and each part of the episode just made so many twists that I did not expect to Natalie to be a hallucination. Makes me sad and amazed. reminds me of a lot of shows put together. Very well done, excited to watch the rest of the season

  9. Cook is the reason I gave this a chance. I almost skipped it because I'm not really a Eric McCormack fan.

  10. It totally answered my question on where the hell is pope and now we know where he was lol Colin Cunningham aka Pope was Daniel hallucination as well lol

Great start to an great show and when i see a good show i watch it, It was nice to see Colin without his hair and beard that we so accustomed to on Falling Skies.

  12. Finally watched the pilot and while I wasn't blown away, I enjoyed it as it fits in the wheelhouse (right now) that The Mentalist, Lie to Me, (and from what I've seen from the trailers) the Sherlock, and Eleventh Hour procedurals share: an eccentric genius with a knack for solving crimes with some heavy baggage in his past coupled with a tough, capable, and certainly easy on the eyes sidekick/law enforcement partner who will be shipping bait.... I've always had a weakness for RLC, and hope that they give her character some good fleshing out and make her not only more interesting, but able to solve cases without totally relying on her eccentric partner for the solution (which is my main complaint with the Mentalist which I still enjoy).

  13. Do you think Colin being Daniels Hallucination beats Tom's parasite in his eye? uh hell ya lol

But gotta admit he dyed his hair for the scene because when he appeared on 2nd watch web episode he hairs had different color lol with facial hair lol

Socially insane but brilliant crime solver with a trench coat (including the popped collar) and a scarf; I'm noticing a trend here...

    I really liked it.

  16. Oh! Duh! I feel so dumb! I didn't realize that she was a hallucination throughout the entire episode. gah!

  17. I thought it was good. But just good. There wasn't anything about it that makes it jump out of the pack of quirky character mystery/cop shows.

I surprised that I actually believe Rachel Leigh Cook in this part. I didn't expect to. She looks 15 and I thought that was going to bug me. I've missed Jeremy Ratchford since Cold Case went off the air. Hope to see him again.

I'll check out the next ep...but it's not a show I'll be sorry to miss.
