Lol. Seriously, I was thinking while watching the episode that you've might have seen the episode before it aired cause your prediction were coming true like leaves falling from the tree in the fall, lol.
Sad day indeed! But, for sure, a great series finale. For sec, I though we were going to get another time shift when Jack jumped into the wormhole, but obviously they wouldn't do such a thing, when it's a series finale.
LOL, a few of my guesses were based on the promo pictures (Zane had a freaking ring box in his hand!) and Jack had his hand on Allison's stomach in another. Plus, I figured we were getting an Allison pregnancy once she and Jack got married.
And I figured the end was coming when Jaime Paglia suggested watching the pilot again. Things came full circle!
With Grant now owning Eureka, they no longer have to work on hardware. I'm sure that will drop the death count significantly.
Ahh Eureka. I've watched you since the beginning, and I've easily marathon every season more times than any other series. I enjoyed the writing and characters more than most shows, and you always kept entertaining me. It sucks that there won't be a season six.
Luckily, I own every season, which I think I'll watch all over again soon enough. Just please, for the love of God, have some more crossovers with Warehouse 13. I will hate Syfy for all eternity for this.
The only thing I missed, is that Stark didn't make a surprise return. I totally wasn't expecting Grant coming back, but i'm glad he did.
I'm happy the show ended the way it did, but it still left me wanting more. With the sets having already been taken down, I doubt we'd see a continuation on any other channel, or even a tv movie. Eureka RIP 2006-2012.
A brilliant series finale. Loved seeing everyone get a happy ending - the pregnancy and engagement, Grace coming back and Holly's memory returning and Henry as head of GD. It was a surprise to see Grant again - yay for him saving the town. It was a shame we didn't see Stark again but at least he was in the montage. And the finale scene was perfect. And now I'm just sad. Eureka's been a great show with a great cast, cut short before it's time (even the finale set up so much potential for future seasons) and I'll miss it!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I absolutely loved it! Such an awesome series finale. Sad the show's over now. Yay for Grant saving the town!
ReplyDeleteThree of my theories were right: Allison's pregnancy, Jo/Zane engagement, and Jack and Zoe passing their past selves at the end! So happy about that.
And awwww at the montage.

Disappointed .
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrible end .
I was expecting something more
beautiful.
That's exactly how I wanted it to end....just knowing that there'd be a tomorrow in Eureka even though we couldn't watch it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED the way they did the montage. It was seamlessly part of the story. Usually, they're a pause or a step aside...this was completely seamless.
I had been asking myself about Grant. It made absolute sense for him to return.
Perfect for me.
except for the part where there won't be a next season.
Brilliant end to a brilliant show. So sad seeing it end :( Great seeing old faces come back and loved seeing everyone happy :) Going to miss Eureka.
ReplyDeleteA good finale, but I missed something about the reality change they did, apart from Dr. Grant.I can believe yet it's over.
