Really very awesome, it was organic the way the team came back together. And the promo for the rest of the season looks GREAT. This is gonna be a season bigger and building on itself to become even better, I'm so excited!
It was made specifically for the show, by the creators (sung by a singer, though) so those 30 seconds is all there is, that I know of. I would love there to be a full song. I really love it, too. The visuals along with the music, as well. Lots of shows are just title cards these days but the video and editing along with the song are exceptional.
Awesome start to the season! Loved the way the ep progressed and how the team slowly came back together, a bit banged up but able to pull it together to help out their comrades. The series is obviously taking a very "Xmen"-esque direction and feel, but that isn't a bad thing at all imho. Good to have the show back!
...AMAZING...the forces are balance good against evil with there respective teachers teaching who improve there skills to his student to finally full fill theres respective agendas
It was a really exciting episode, but it feels like they just reset everything. Oh, look the team is back together to catch the same bad alphas we already caught once. And nobody is at all upset or unwilling to work with the US government. Dr. Rosen is just trusting them that he is in charge, 'cause he's had so much power and autonomy in the past. Gary doesn't say no, this morning I didn't walk downstairs and eat breakfast, I was locked in a cell this morning by the people who killed my friend. I wasn't happy with the glossing. :( I'm not super interested in the procedural side of things, if they want to go X-men on it and actually face up to the us vs them problem, I think it would be more interesting. I felt like that was the promise of the season 1 finale and this episode, at least, dropped that ball a little in favor of making it all back to normal with a happy bow, which given how short their seasons are, disappointed me.
So glad Alphas is back, It's been too long since it was last on our screens and what a AWESOME way to start off the new season. Can't wait for more episodes!
I searched the internets far and wide for a full version of that song to no avail. I really love it, and think I'll write a couple of more verses, and finish it for myself. I wonder if you can download it as a ringtone?
I really want to love this show, but they've only got me at like. I'm hoping that things will get more interesting as the seconds season goes on, but this ep just didn't do it for me. I love many of the characters ( Gary, Cameron, and Harken ) Nina irritates me (and her introduction in last nights ep...make her downright unlikable.) The addition of Parish...isn't working for me. Too much of his agenda (as stated so far) feels like I already heard this story before. When they discovered Gary in Building 7 I was hoping that we were going to be set on the path of 'our heroes' fighting to make things right on a larger scale. Instead we're back to good alphas fighting the bad alphas (who are doing everything in their power to justify the government's treatment of them.)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteReally loved it and Gary oh Gary so damn great! Get a feeling Nina is going to annoy me though, never a huge fan of the character to begin with.
