USA's Political Animals premiered to weak ratings by the network's standards with a mere 0.5 A 18-49 demo and 2.6 million viewers. The demo for its series premiere is less than half what shows like Suits and Burn Notice got for their most recent episodes and exactly half compared to Royal pains and White Collar. In fact it is even less than repeats of series like Law & Order SVU score on USA.

Nobody else called it a flop...
ReplyDeleteits demo for its series premiere is less than half what shows like suits and burn notice got for their last episode
ReplyDeleteAs good as it's supposed to be, I'm not really surprised. It's up against two of the biggest summer shows.
ReplyDeleteWhile it certainly wasn't a rating powerhouse, it wasn't a flop either.
ReplyDelete.//.YAK,YAK.//.thats sound very low and compare to all those series that basically are establish a strong fan followers i smell ,// CANCEL.// in a very short time
ReplyDeleteRight now it's only a 6 episode miniseries, so canceling would seem to be a bit much. Unless it improves, there won't be a second season ordered, but I doubt it will be canceled.
ReplyDeleteIt's a really tough night to squeeze into with basic and premium cable both having a lot of shows.
