  3. Curious what the plot might be for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". If it's a sequel to 'The Avengers', or if it takes place during the events of the first movie. It's hard to write a sequel to the first one, when he basically was frozen in the end, and re-awoke in modern day (followed by the events of The Avengers).

  5. The second Captain America movie is definitely taking place in the modern era, post-Avengers. :)

  6. I'm not fully familiar with all things Capt Am, but I seem to recall that the Winter Soldier refers to a character who seems to have some pretty detailed knowledge and familiarity to Cap....

  7. I"m not familiar with the Guardians, but was recently introduced to them in the animated "Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes" series and will be interested to find out more about them...

  8. The Winter Soldier refers to Cap's friend Bucky from the first film. I'm guessing the film will tell his back story, as well as Cap in the modern era. Bucky was Cap's sidekick in the comics, and was given a bionic arm in a version of the story called "The Winter Soldier". I remember the first movie, Cap found Bucky strapped on a surgery table, and then he fell to his supposed "death".

  9. Can anyone find the Ant-Man footage?? I really want to see it! I hope Marvel release the footage online soon!

I'm very excited for all of these movies! Who wouldn't want to see a gun-toting raccoon kick some arse!

  10. so, looks like Bucky is alive? It'd be cool if he was frozen like Steve Rogers too, and thawed out in modern day times!!

Cameos by The Avengers (e.g. Iron Man, Thor etc) should be a must!

  11. In a nutshell, "The Winter Soldier" is the code name given to James "Bucky" Barnes when the Russians rescued him from death, gave him a bionic arm, and brainwashed him into becoming an assassin.
