This season has been better, both in action and story, but they still gotta work on fleshing out some of the characters more. At any rate, they're making a lot of right steps to get to a better show and I look forward to seeing more of it.
As long as they bring back Season 1's writers - if I have to deal with much more teenage angst and 'will they, won't they' relationship crap, I'm going to kill myself...
If you're talking about Hal and Margaret, I agree. Margaret kind of gave Hal the brushoff, and if it stays that way, fine by me. On the other hand, Tom leading Anne into an empty hospital room was nice. But then, that's not teenage and there's no more will they/won't they, because they did :).
I like the characters this season, and I'm developing an attachment to Red Eye, in an E. T. kind of way. The character of Ben is growing in complexity. Next week I will start watching Second Watch to get a better idea of what's going on.
I also agree. There is a much better balance of action and personal drama this season. Season one felt like a soap opera with guns. Season two is a vast improvement.
The more I watch this the more I feel like Earth Final Conflict is getting ripped off, but then again I said that about the V reboot as well. I want to LOVE this show, not just like it but so far, it's a oh, yeah, I need to watch the last episode. But it's getting better and second watch has my life long crush Will Wheaton (cue Stewie Griffin) so there's that.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
this is great news. Even though it still needs a little tightening up, I've been enjoying this current season's feel and direction
