    Honestly, I was expecting it last season but I'm glad that we're being introduced to him. It really seems like the biggest part of Jeff's life that holds him back, so hopefully he'll be able to get over his daddy issues.

    And I'm with klutzy_girl, bring in Bill Murray for the role!

    If they manage to get Bill Murray, that would be great. Looking at their list I think John Larroquette would be a great choice as well. Since Dan had stated that 4 years would be enough, it would be ideal time to bring Jeff's dad into the show. Especially after the season 3 finale montage

    I really wish Dan Harmon had gotten to do the episode with Jeff's dad... He has talked about it before and I am sure he had some really great ideas for it... But unfortunately we are stuck with showrunners who haven't been even writers on the show before they took the job... It may be me being generally cynical, but I just know the show is gonna suck! :( :( I am going to give it a chance, surely, because Community is probably the best comedy on air...
