The episode was The Third Man. I wouldn't have wanted to go out that window either. Also Born-Again Identity. Yeah, getting hit by a car would suck even if it is scripted.
I could be wrong... I thought I saw an interview with him stating it didn't get picked up... now I have to google obsessively to find out for sure haha
The Dean/Cas relationship does make sense, especially as Jared explains it, but it makes me kind of sad - I always thought Sam and Cas would have made good friends.
Looks like it got passed on. I think I got the name mixed up in my head with the Mathew Perry's Go On and thought they both got picked up. Now I'm sad.
Well I for one would like Cas to have more scenes with Sam. I think that with Cas making the choices he did in season 6, he really cannot hold anything against Sam.
I love this question about what he would tell his 20-year-old self. It's an awesome question with an even better answer. I really do feel like the cast and crew of #Supernatural are grateful for their careers and the fans.
Except for the one super annoying fan, this may be the best, most intelligent round of fan questions I've ever heard with #Supernatural. Kudos to all there. I learned a lot and had fun listening to Jared's thoughtful answers.
You can't watch the episode from the Get Glue website although you can talk about it in real time. I meant it would be fun to watch it through the site. As it is, my online friends and I watch it on a streaming site and do live tweeting since everyone's from a different country. However tweeting isn't ideal because it's hard to have discussions as the episode airs.
that fan-art question was terrible; TERRIBLE. People are entitled to like that kind of thing, but it's incredibly awkward and I would say rude to subject the actors to it in a forum like a convention. That part really made me cringe uncomfortably. Jared covered well, though. Always professional and polite.
Yeah, and conversations between multiple parties get really hard to follow. I've never remembered to check out Get Glue when something was actually on, so I've never really understood it, but you always get the "i've checked in" tweets.
What if you (someone) just opened up a thread at the beginning of an episode? Wouldn't fix the embedded streaming problem though.
I'm finding the Get Glue #Supernatural community to be the best there is. No fighting, no wars, no excessive negativity - people are pleasant even when they disagree. Like how this site was when I first got here. Check it out even when something isn't on. There's always a SPN fan on ready to discuss....and a poll to win.
I never thought about opening a thread while the episode is on. Now that they have that new Gossip section here maybe people wouldn't mind if we tried it. I've enjoyed live tweeting even if the format is annoying. Disqus would take care of some of that.
YES. I think it's especially true because no one (aside from Misha and Seb) even joke about it at conventions. I was very embarrassed and wanted to turn off my computer! lol. Jared was a pro, though. God love him!
Yeah, I feel the same. That was one little bit of Jared's answer that bugged me a bit. I think they've managed to get past that, and even if Cas and Sam don't share a "profound bond", I think they could have been friends.
I don't like the fact that you can't watch it later. I was busy with family yesterday at the time it aired and couldn't watch then. I was hoping to watch it later.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I'm so excited for this! Last year's panel was hilarious, and Jared was drunk, and I loved it so much.
ReplyDeleteAnd I still want Zac to be on SPN.
Pretty cool that we will be able to watch it through SpoilerTV. I'm excited.
ReplyDeleteIt's starting. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh I'm so glad I managed to catch this! A few minutes late, but I'll take it :)
ReplyDeleteJared is doing an excellent job with giving complex thorough answers. Love it.
ReplyDeleteHaha I wondered how long it would take someone to attack The Vampire Diaries... they love poking fun :)
ReplyDeleteThese fans have great questions. It's a relief to see how much fun Jared is having answering them.
ReplyDeleteI know this panel is about Jared, but I miss Zac on my TV so much. This makes me smile :)
ReplyDelete"He looks great for 54 by the way." I'm liking Zach more and more.
ReplyDeleteShadow Man, wow that brings back way, way old memories of watching TV with my dad.
ReplyDeleteI'm changing my stance on the hair. I'm actually starting to like it. The shampoo commercial may have helped. xD
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel... it's not so bad all of a sudden. I'm just relieved to see the death of the sideburns.
ReplyDelete"It's scary man." Who knew Jared had a hard time with comedy? He does it tremendously well.
ReplyDeleteYeah, those were bad. Maybe that is it.
ReplyDeleteJared is so funny! XD
ReplyDeleteTravel sucks anytime. I can't imagine doing it if you're giraffe sized.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Zach was up for the role in Gilmore Girls. I'm learning all kinds of things in this interview.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Less Than Perfect! I used to love that show...
ReplyDeleteWhat was Zac on? What's his full name?
ReplyDeleteZachary Levi - he was most notably the lead on Chuck, which ended in January. He was also the voice of Flynn Rider in Tangled if you saw that ;)
ReplyDeleteHe's been really great all weekend on these. I'm hoping his new show is fun.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think it got picked up!
ReplyDeleteThe episode was The Third Man. I wouldn't have wanted to go out that window either. Also Born-Again Identity. Yeah, getting hit by a car would suck even if it is scripted.
ReplyDeleteI didn't? I thought it did. Now I'm sad, and worried for my reading comprehension skills.
ReplyDeleteThe stunt with Cas was with another angel in 6x03 "The Third Man" did no body there remember that?
ReplyDeleteI didn't know it was a big deal there. Cool. It was a crazy stunt.
I could be wrong... I thought I saw an interview with him stating it didn't get picked up... now I have to google obsessively to find out for sure haha
ReplyDeleteI know Tangled. I saw that. Cool. :)
ReplyDeleteFinally, someone addresses Zac being on Supernatural... YES PLEASE.
ReplyDeleteHow many new roles have people proposed to Zach this weekend?
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to think Jared is getting royalties from Dee-Lite.
ReplyDeleteGen, djinn - I'd be confused too.
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah.
ReplyDeleteThe Dean/Cas relationship does make sense, especially as Jared explains it, but it makes me kind of sad - I always thought Sam and Cas would have made good friends.

ReplyDeleteAwww... well I'm sad I had to be the bearer of bad news.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Cas holds a grudge as he says, but I do think they'll never be as close as Dean and Cas, possibly because of that past.
ReplyDeleteI love "You're gonna miss this" by Trace Adkins. :D
ReplyDeleteI love this question about what he would tell his 20-year-old self. It's an awesome question with an even better answer. I really do feel like the cast and crew of #Supernatural are grateful for their careers and the fans.
ReplyDeleteI'll get over it. xD He's supposed to be in Thor 2, so I'll look forward to that.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Jared has a brother that is taller than he is.
ReplyDelete3 Sams does sound really hard. XD
ReplyDeleteThis was a very cool panel... thanks so much for giving us the ability to watch! The fans actually asked some pretty insightful questions today, too.
ReplyDeleteUgh, still not over the idiot fangirl showing him the Wincest (or Sam/Cas) fanart. So awkward, and you could tell Jared was uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely want Zac on SPN, but not as Bobby's illegitimate son. And he was so sweet at the end!
That was AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteThese Nerd HQ panels livestreams have been really awesome. Really enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteThat was awesome! Thanks for letting us watch it here on SpoilerTV. Now if only we could watch the episodes like that and instantly chat here.
ReplyDeleteWow... That was really cool. I got here just in time to watch. I think his superhero name was my favorite! Chief Moosekateer =]
ReplyDeleteChuck is a fun show too. Try season 1.
ReplyDeleteTotally!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the idea behind GetGlue?

There's a time and a place for stuff, and that wasn't it. I like fic, but ugh, she crossed a line.
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah. Shocker.
ReplyDeleteJust something I never felt like watching.

yep. :(
ReplyDeleteAgreed. It was embarrassing for me as a fan just like the Destiel question in the H Hall panel was. Some things should stay on Tumblr.
ReplyDeleteYES. I think it's especially true because no one (aside from Misha and Seb) even joke about it at conventions. I was very embarrassed and wanted to turn off my computer! lol. Jared was a pro, though. God love him!
ReplyDeleteI

ReplyDeletesomeone erase the video clip or move to other way
ReplyDeleteIt was a live streaming thing so you had to be watching it while the panel was going on. Nerd HQ didn't allow video taping during the panel.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the fact that you can't watch it later. I was busy with family yesterday at the time it aired and couldn't watch then. I was hoping to watch it later.
