    I still think they'll do a time jump unless Andrew Marlowe states otherwise. He's been pretty clear about wanting to keep the show's timeline current with the "real" world.

    If they do it'll probably be within the episode, like "Rise." Although this time around I'm not sure how they'd explain it. That I'm looking forward to :)


    And if he wants to keep the timeline current to real world, he should have proofread the script for "Headhunters" because I swear Beckett said it had been 7 months since the shooting when Dr. Burke asked her about it. Just a continuity I'd noticed that bugged me at the time :P

    I'm wondering that about this news too. I think back in May, Marlowe's words were that we would get the morning after. With this, I'm wondering if we pick up with Maddox and Smith or with Castle and Beckett heading into his room (or the morning after, as promised. Whichever way the writers and producers want to go ;))

    Well, I think they start out with Maddox and Smith, and then it will continue with Caskett the morning after. We'll know for sure on Sept 17th :D

    They couldn't keep the beginning of last season in real time>She spent too much time in the hospital,then recouping at home.They would have wasted half the season just of her in the hospital. I doubt anyone would want to see a character in the ICU wing for any length of time.

    They did say they wanted to keep it in real time,whether or not they meant that exact time where we left off is questionable.They will probably open up with them in bed,after the fact.....Then again,we really don't know yet?

    I wouldn't mind a time jump of a few hours or so. I just want to see Alexis walk in on Castle & Beckett the morning after.

    I think we'll pick up with Maddox and Smith or with the morning after, I'm pretty certain we won't see Castle and Beckett heading to his room. The last shot of them with the hand holding was perfect and the scene was finished with this. When they now show a immediate follow up, it would somehow ruin it for me. (That doesn't mean I don't wanna see some bedroom action under other circumstances ;))

    Beckett and Castle kissed. Beckett resigned from the police force after being reckless in her mother's case and going directly against orders from Sir. Esposito and Ryan were on the outs because Ryan ended up telling Sir what was going on and saved both Beckett and Esposito's lives because of it.

    I'll be up where Dahne left off. Beckett almost lost her life going over a roof,she thought Castle was coming to save her but it wasn't him..She resigned,got wet thinking in the park,Beck went over to Castles,she told him she wanted him they started kissing. Castle threw her against the wall in a deep kiss........the end! Till September!

    Well, I know that within "Rise" (as told by Michael Ausiello in a Blind Item, if I remember correctly) they jumped ahead to past the summer, from when Beckett was in the hospital to her first day back at the precinct, saying that she had been at her dad's cabin the whole 3 or so months. So I figured that was for the "real world" catch-up. All I mean is that in Headhunters, you'd think she would have said 11 months instead of 7. But that might just be me.


    I can't wait to see how they handle what comes next in the season 5 premiere. Is it September yet? I will gladly bypass my mid-September birthday just to see the morning after ;)
